We can't say enough about the outstanding job Nicole and her crew did for us. We spent a weekend operating out of DCU leaving before hours and ariving after hours. But none the less they were there ready to help us and our passengers in every way. They even provided us a crew car for overnight. Our owner was VERY impressed with the new facility and the gracious customer service provided. Thanks again Nicole for everything!! We will recommend Athens Aero Service every where we go!

On 9/26 enroute we changed our destination to DCU account of lines of TRW's and stayed overnight. Best of service thanks to Nicole! She had a nice courtesy car ready for us, suggested a couple of nice motels, and assured us she would be ready for us at 7AM the next morning. They have a brand new FBO building on the north end of the runway and it is very nice. This FBO is worth going out of the way to stop at if you are anywhere near Decatur-Athens, AL

I am only 19 and been in aviation for 4 years. This is the best FBO I have been to yet. My dad and I flew in to see the Air and Space Museum in Huntsville. When we landed they were out ready to park us. The car was at the airport ready to go. The people were on top of things. The best part is no RAMP/LANDING FEE. Before we departed I needed some air in our front tire, the man jumped into his own car and got us a air tank. The best all around. Thanks Staff

I have been in aviation for over 20 years. This is the finest FBO I have walked into in the last 10! I diverted into there and Nicole gave me her car for 4 hours to go to an interview. The staff was top notch. I am glad I did not have to go to Signature at HSV! I had tie downs and a Mercedes courtesy car. This was the BEST FBO I have visited in the last decade. I will be back. Clean restrooms, full service facility (and I was in their "old building".) Definitely worth the visit and only 15 minutes from the Space Center. If you are going into Huntsville, land here!

Flew into DCU a couple of Saturdays ago. Brand new, very nice FBO, very friendly folks. Loaned us an almost new crew car to go into town and get some great BBQ. Would highly recommend this as a place to visit/stop over.

We flew in on a Pilots N Paws animal rescue mission last Saturday and could not have asked for friendlier or better full service. Good fuel prices along with a new FBO. We will make this a regular fuel stop for sure when in the area.

On 30 December 2008, we were returning from a trip to the Bahamas. We did not get into Decatur until about 30 minutes before closing. The woman working the counter said that a Challenger crew had the crew car, but we could use her personal pickup to go down the street for a quick sandwich. She had fueled the airplane when we returned, gave us some cookies from the Christmas party, and we were back in the air. Definitely a good experience and I'll return if ever in the area.

As soon as I landed they were out ready to park me. They were extremely nice and let me use their car. It was a 1994 manual Jeep Cherokee. I loved it :) Went out got some food they toped me off and I was gone. I will be back someday. Great fuel stopping point!!!

Just learning to fly and needed to fly over to Decatur for a sick relative. These people were great. Lent me a car for a couple of hours at no charge, made sure I had fuel, this will be a stop over for me for a long time.

Outstanding service. Nicole has stayed late for us to get the rental car information. It's above and beyond what you would expect. Another time there was no crew car available and one of the line guys told me to take his personnel vehicle...This is service you won't find at larger airports, it's always a pleasure to deal with DAAS

Stopped at DCU and found the staff to be top notch. They stayed late on Sunday so I could pick up a rental car and were very helpful with directions and advice. Great place to stop in.

Based at DCU for a couple weeks in February. Very impressed with all services provided. Great rate on rental car, and the Country Inn & Suites provides and excellent rate for DAAS customers. Maintenance staff also went out of their way to accommodate short notice requests. Hope I get to stop back again. Thanks everyone!

I work out of DCU several times a year with my last trip this past week. Always get great service at Athens Aero Service. Rental cars are available on site; just call ahead to reserve one. If you need a tailwheel endorsement they have a Citabria available for rent.

Excellent service on a bad weather day. Decided to stay the night rather than fighting the ice and low clouds. A car rental for $20 and an upgrade to a suite at a local hotel made the overnight stay wonderful. Highly recommended as a place to stopover.

Great little facility! Friendly, good prices, and very helpful. I spent about six hours waiting for my passengers, and the crew there made it pleasant and relaxing. I'll stop again if I'm in the area.
