The line staff was helpful and gave us a quick turn around. We ate lunch in their lounge and several people asked us if we needed anything. They were all very nice and I would recommend as a stop in the Chicago area.

Midwest Flight Academy has been in business here at DeKalb Airport for 5 years. In the last 3 years JA Air Center has been handling all of our FBO needs. They have gone above and beyond our expectations. Tim Zeitler, FBO Manager, and his staff consistently provide exceptional service.

JA Air Center is single piston UNFRIENDLY. We landed an hour before closing and no lineman to show us in, he was busy doing homework inside, then he was upset where I chose to park to offload pax. He did not offer to help move the plane, and then didn't have any tie downs on the t-spots (the winds were gusting 20-30 knots). Then to rub salt in the wound, he jumped to provide fantastic service to the medi-vac chopper that came in after closing. Next time, I'll park and buy fuel at ARR.

Stopped here on our way to OSH on 23 July 2006. Great line service. Friendly folks. They even had soda and hotdogs for us to wolf down!

Ever since we have been coming to DeKalb airport, (about three years now) we have had nothing but good things to say about the FBO (J A Air) as well as the airport manager, (Mr. Cleveland) he has been very accommodating to us and helpful to say the least. Also having a 7, 000 Ft. Runway has done wonders for our Diamond Jet, and the fact that there will be an ILS in the future, makes the DeKalb airport even more attractive. P.S. The free steaks for fuel purchase are great too!!!
