Great place! The airport is easy to get into, clear approaches for the paved and the grass strips. The airport is one of the best maintained airports in the state. The maintenance shop is fantastic as is the main FBO. Highly recommended!

My experience with the Baraboo Dells Flight Center on May 3, 2011 was over the phone about an issue with my gas receipt and what was charged to my bank account. This individual was extremely rude, disrespectful, and did not have a care about my concerns with my gas charges. When I asked for his name, he said, "My name is I don't have time for you". I would caution anyone when they go to this airport. Terrible customer service.Response from Bill Murphy, Baraboo-Dells Flight Center Inc. I'm terribly sorry Ms. Johnson that you felt I was rude but in reality I wasn't allowed to explain why the charge was posted to your bank account because you kept talking over me, calling me names, and yelling out your demands. I assume that as I tried to explain, the charge was merely a preauthorization from our SELF-SERVE island that is very common and that was authorized on the system by your husband. To any potential and returning users. This was one lady that was obviously having a bad day and just needed someone to vent on. Please refer to the previous comments to see what we are really about. We ALWAYS strive to provide the very best service and customer support. We would never talk to someone the way she quoted and I believe our returning customer base will agree that we are nothing but friendly and supportive. Thank you!

Very pleasant experience. FBO arranged rental car, and it was waiting on the ramp for us. Prompt, courteous service, and very reasonable fuel prices. A good stop.

Great service and hospitality! Sunday morning arrival, Bill was waiting with our rental car as we taxied in. Wish all FBO experiences were as efficient and friendly :)

Excellent service and treatment when we flew in for a weekend to stay at a local Water-park. Not one problem.

Took the family up to the Dells for some, end of Summer fun on Saturday 08/29. Bill (Baraboo Flight Center) met us at the plane with the Rental Car, had restaurant recommendations, and took care of everything. Really, great, old fashioned top notch service.

Great service on a busy Oshkosh week. However, the rental service turned into quite a headache with Hertz. We were overcharged and counter personnel at Baraboo took no responsibility at the airport. Watch hidden/erroneous charges from Hertz.

A group of 4 planes came in to DLL to go to HoChunk. We made a request for a courtesy van about 10 minutes out on the Unicom and the FBO had the van waiting for us when we arrived. Friendly staff. Nice place to visit.

Flew in for an overnight in a Seminole the other weekend. Great FBO. Line service brought our rental car out to the airplane right as we parked. The line guy also gave us good tips on local restaurants and directions to the hotel. The airplane was fueled in a timely manner the next day (tiedown fee waved with purchase of fuel). Great place to stop for a great time in the Dells! Thanks BDFC!

Excellent FBO. My wife and I set up the rental of a Hertz van a few days before our flight. As soon as we taxied in and parked, the van was driven beside our airplane so we could unload. The nice man (I didn't get his name) working at this FBO then got us through the van rental paperwork quickly and effortlessly and we were on our way. After our vacation was over, turning in the van was also a breeze, and again we were allowed to load our airplane with the van parked next to it. We were very pleased by the outstanding service, personal attention and friendliness we encountered at Baraboo-Dells Flight Center.

Excellent FBO. Bill took great care of us on our two-day stay, arranging a motel and car rental before I could get the plane tied down. He also provided maps and directions to local sites and feeding establishments. We eschewed the carnival attractions for a fantastic tour of the House on a Rock. Try it for yourself, you won't be sorry.

We flew into Baraboo Sat. Night, told the Mgr that we would be leaving the following Tue morning and need topped off. Went to the airport on Mon to pay the fuel charge and take a friend with MS for his last plane ride. Told that we were NOT fueled yet and to park at the pumps upon our return. We got back, parked at the pump and were told that we would be topped off so we could leave early in the morning. We arrived to leave only to find that the plane was NOT fueled and told the reason was that they were low on fuel and we had to wait two hours on the fuel truck to arrive. Spoke to pilots that were fueled already that morning which left 15 of the needed 70 gals. To make things worse a line of thunderstorms coming through which we wanted to beat. We were told to fly to C35 to get the fuel for our trip home, which caused us to have to fly through some turbulent weather unnecessarily. Very poor service and unnecessary anxiety due to poor management decisions. Response from Bill Murphy, Baraboo-Dells Flight Center Inc. Mr. Hefter, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience. There were a lot of things that happened contributing to your displeasure. The previous day you told me that you would be leaving mid day and at that time I was aware of an incoming load of fuel. My supplier told me that it would be there before 9am so it would have worked had you showed on time. The reason for waiting until the last minute for the load of fuel was to keep our 100LL prices as low as possible. That day the price was coming down 16 cents! Low 100LL prices are important to us because we want nothing more than to see GA survive in this tough economy. Thank you! **Anyone else out there please understand that this was one individual that was difficult to please all along and refer to the prior comments to determine what our team is all about. Professional, efficient, and reasonable service!! See you all very soon!

Flew into Baraboo for a Fourth of July weekend, and when we got back to the plane for departure 2 days later, I found out I had a dead battery due to a luggage compartment light that was left on. The crew at Baraboo Flight Center along with the Fly High Helicopter Tour crew helped me get the Saratoga jumped, and we were on our way in less than 15 minutes. Excellent FBO and very reasonable. We will be back, and thanks for the rescue!!

Stopped in a Luscombe after a Citation arrived . . . Got forgotten in the shuffle. Self-serve avgas is available, but we didn't notice the credit card machine (on the Citation's side of the island) until the rest of business was taken care of. It may be covered when you stop but is working.
