Service at Deming was fast and efficient; the reserved rental car was clean and ready to go. I had a starter problem and Tony located an A&P and got it quickly resolved. There is a nice discount on fuel and rental cars for cash. This is not advertised, so ask if it is still in effect and have cash ready. If you are crew waiting in Deming or on vacation, check out the Luna Mimbres Museum, it is a treasure. I wish all FBO's were this good.

Great fuel stop. I was on my way from San Diego to San Antonio both ways. Less than 10 minutes on the ground both ways. Very prompt and courteous, with a free sandwich to keep the blood sugar up.

Landed here on 4-25 twice. FBO was friendly and allowed me to use their courtesy van for a 5-mile trip to El Mirador cafe where I had some exceptionally delightful tacos... At first glance, the cafe makes you think twice about stopping but sure enough, the FBO was right. El Mirador has some talented cooks! Came back to Deming after trying to bed down for the night in Silver City... Didn't like the experience I had at the airport in Silver City (Hurley, NM) and I'm glad I went back to Deming. FBO called GRAND motel and they came out to pick me up. The room was $38 a night and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice and clean and quiet... And I ate twice at the restaurant in the motel and the food was wonderful. The city of Deming was a great diversion, like stepping back in time when the world was at a slower less hectic pace. When I win the Lottery, I'm buying land here! Great weather, wonderful scenic views, fabulous Mexican food and easy slow pace of life!

On the way from Texas to California, landed at DMN on Sunday just before 6pm closing of Desert Aviation. Lineman let us take courtesy car into town for dinner at local steakhouse, and he stayed 1 hour late until we returned. I didn’t realize he was going to wait on us, so I felt bad. Family was tired, so we decided to spend the night, he let us keep the car overnight and suggested a nice Comfort Inn. Had a nice conversation with the mechanic/manager Monday morning prior to departure. He has owned a lot of C210's and currently flies a C310. They really know C210's, different models, mods, etc there. If I ever had a mechanical difficulty with my T210 in the vicinity, they could handle the task. Overall a very pleasant place to stop for fuel or overnight. Great fuel prices also!

I've been through DMN about three times now, and every visit has been great. On this last visit my arrival coincided with the landings of military choppers. Tony, from Desert Aviation saw the dust being blow up towards my plane from the rotor wash, and he immediately parked their fuel truck between my plane and the helos. His quick thinking and clear demonstration of good customer service will always ensure my loyalty to them...I know if I ever fly from Texas to CA I will make a point of stopping at DMN for fuel and service. Thanks Tony!

What a great place! Stopped for fuel on a cross-country flight. The fuel truck was there before we had opened the door. When we asked about food from the vending machine, the person working quickly fixed us hamburgers -- free! Excellent service and friendly folks.

From Robert Squillace on 26-Sep-2007
Awesome service!!! Came in and was met with the fuel truck, a smile and a "is there anything we can do for you?". Great FBO. Had our Citation fueled, the passengers happy, great price and service and on our way. This is the best stop along the southern part of NM or AZ. We were going to fuel up in Phoenix area and continue to Van Nuys. PHX ATC is terrible about keeping west traffic to Los Angeles low. We were off and cleared direct to FL430 and over everyone in Phoenix. Thanks again. We will be back.

Diverted here around a monster CB cell. Wasn't sure where to stand so as not to get hit by lighting...The tarmac or the metal FBO. Stuck overnight...Cheap motels (with internet), cheap food, and the classic of courtesy vans..The 1979 Econoline...Good service and sympathy and a harmless one nighter.

Stopped after a long day of flying. Had a good experience with Desert Aviation. Line person "Tony" was very helpful. Called the Holiday Inn for me. Met FBO owner, nice guy. Holiday Inn picked me up at the airport and returned me the next morning. Ate dinner at the Holiday Inn and was good and very reasonable.

From Joe Keffer on 09-May-2007
Great FBO. Very friendly, helpful staff. If you're on a layover, this is the place to stay!

From LeWayne Garrison on 31-Mar-2007
Landed at mid-day on a Sunday. Had to go find someone on the field to fuel the airplane. After finding him, he was helpful and friendly.

From Rick Mcgeehon on 01-Mar-2007
The guys at the FBO are fantastic. I stopped there on 2/21/07 on my way to Texas and they were ready with the fuel truck and they had very clean facilities. On the return trip, we were grounded there due to very high winds; they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This is a great FBO and we really enjoyed Deming.

From Drew Coats on 01-Feb-2007
Deming is a great technical stop! The airport is a cool former WWII training base, with some of the original hangars still standing. The FBO is clean and has courteous, fast service, even on a Sunday afternoon. Deming had the least expensive gas on our trip to California and back.

From Paul Thomas on 05-Dec-2006
XC eastbound over Thanksgiving in a Luscombe. Quick, friendly service, nice facility, good airport. Would stop again.

From Michael Duggan on 26-Nov-2006
Good experience. Landed on a quiet Sunday. Got good service, friendly. No Internet for weather, etc., but phones available. Good, courteous and fast fuel attendant.

From Jack Newton on 09-Nov-2006
After reading some of the other comments I just wanted to note that I saw the night phone sign immediately even being really tired. The number 494-2311 was there in plain sight. Only took Tony about 5 minutes to get there too. Can't complain about that.

From Jack Newton on 08-Nov-2006
Will definitely stop here again! Fast excellent service. Tony is the best. Quick, friendly and probably saved my life when I came in dog tired in the middle of the night. With his jokes, cheerfulness and showing concern, I left wide awake, fed and made it back safely. Thank you Tony, you're one in a million!

From Jim Fitzgerald on 23-Oct-2006
Wonderful stopover. I have been stopping at DMN for almost 19 years on my travels to California and the west. It has always been a great stop with friendly and helpful people and reasonable full service fuel prices. Lately it has become even better. Tony is a great resource and is there to meet you when your plane pulls in and offers a free microwaveable sandwich and water. Not the Ritz but very welcome when traveling cross-country. The facility is clean and has all of the weather tools to help you on your way. Several years ago, when the weather was really bad, they even found a hangar for the airplane and set me up with a local hotel. Keep it up guys. Thanks

From Ken Calman on 20-Jul-2006
For an excellent facility, fast, friendly service and good fuel prices, Deming is the place to stop! Thank you Tony. I'll be seeing you next Dallas trip! Ken

From Gil Alexander on 17-Jul-2006
Great spot for a quick refuel. Friendly, efficient staff. Truck was at the plane before the prop stopped turning. 10-cent cash discount not shown in 100LL fuel price.

From Mike Parker on 07-Jun-2006
I ferried an aircraft yesterday from Phoenix to Dallas and my first stop was in Deming. I'm used to going into less busy airports and not being able to immediately locate somebody, but Deming gives better service then just about any airport I've visited. I hadn't even stepped off the wing and the fuel guy was there for the order. The fuel was reasonable for price and the lobby is comfortable with standard pilot amenities. I'll definitely be using Deming on any other flights through the Southwest, and next time I'll make time to visit Si Senor.

From Kelly Kyle on 01-Jun-2006
I second all those positive comments about Desert Aviation. I stopped at DMN for fuel this week on a flight from Palm Springs, CA to Jackson, MS. Lineman met us at the plane, took our fuel order, and pointed us to the crew car with directions to "Si Senor" for some of the best Mexican food anywhere. I plan to make Deming a regular stop on trips to/from the west coast.

From Eric S Leighton on 22-Mar-2006
Stopped for fuel and overnight at the Grand Motor Inn. Arrived later than expected, after midnight. Pilot controlled lighting, no problem, but no ride to the Grand after 9pm. We walked the short distance in maybe 20 minutes. I called for fuel from the Grand in the morning, breakfast at 6am at the Grand and they gave us a ride back. Desert Aviation told me next time take the key out of the gas tank door of the van and use it. Nice overall experience. Stopped again on the way back.

From Joe Dubner on 09-Mar-2006
Outstanding service from the hardworking FBO. The car rental was painless: it was delivered (by the FBO) as we unloaded the airplane and was very reasonably priced. The tie down was free! This is a great alternative to landing at KSVC and I'll be back when I get the chance.

From Peter Nussbickel on 25-Jan-2006
I stop in here quite often. I have always received great service. I miss the old Cadillac for trips to town. If you are stopping for lunch, eat at Si Senor, worth the trip for me.

From Jeff Holdsworth on 25-Jan-2006
Stopped for fuel in route from San Antonio to Kingman. Fuel truck met me as I parked and had me full before I could go to the bathroom. Courteous service! They even gave me a free sandwich. After paying $2.85 at small airport in Texas, the price seemed a little high, but they seem to be in line with the other places I have been in AZ. I'd stop again.

From Mike Huhn on 10-Jan-2006
Staff was fast and friendly, and the facility was quite nice. And the airport dog was as friendly as they come.

From Aaron Schneider on 06-Oct-2005
Staff was great! They gave me a ride to my hotel (La Quinta) which may be the nicest La Quinta in America. I will stop here again!
