Don't try to land at night until construction is finished. No lights. No beacon. No runway lights. This airport is a black hole at night.

I stopped here on a trip from TX to GA a week after Hurricane Rita blew through. Even though they didn't have a working credit card machine, they had power and could pump gas. I had to go downtown to get cash, but it was quick and they were all very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend flying through there just to help out the local economy, but make sure you have enough cash just in case! Thanks!
