Flew in for a quick turn in my Seneca II. Lee and his staff were "over the top" when it came to caring about our needs. To the point we mentioned something about breakfast and Lee suggested Louie's (just down the street and FANTASTIC FOOD) and had the courtesy car pulled around so we could go there. Great service without overcharging. Thanks

Lee and Lee went above and beyond to make sure my visit was successful. Great service, great staff. DTW is a big-city airport the Metro Flight Services is an island of small-town friendliness. Highly recommended.

FYI- Metro Flight Services no longer provides New York Times or Wall Street Journal (M-F) or ANY newspaper on weekends. As of Jan 1, 2010, Metro Flight does provide a limited supply of USA Today and the Detroit Free Press. Bring national papers with you for your passengers. Ramp/Handling Fees have not been reduced.

Dropped friend off at KDTW (Metro Flight Services) to catch a commercial flight. On the ramp for 10 minutes - total landing, ramp, tax, and concession fees = $47 for a C182. Beware.

Cannot recommend for a small plane. I taxied in with an A36 Bonanza, was directed to park next to a jet and then ignored. No chocks, no one asking what I wanted. After a few minutes I walked inside and asked about a tie-down for a couple nights, the line guy said, "We don't have tie-downs!” I got back in my plane and taxied over to ASIG, which is VERY nice to small planes.
