Very nice (new) facility. Arrived ahead of storms so had my 182T hangared ($50 per night w/ fuel purchase). Overall good experience with nice people! I'll be back (never tried to find the elusive SS pump!).

From Zac Armstrong on 06-Dec-2010

Fuel was delivered promptly, runways were freshly plowed due to snow, and the new FBO building is fantastic! Great place to stop.

If you've not flown in to DVN, from the air what looks like a self-serve island at the north end of the ramp is not. The self-serve is at the far south end of the ramp. The self-serve fuel was about 80 cents cheaper. The staff was friendly and this is a good place to stop. They even apologized about the confusion over the location of the self-serve island.

This FBO is great. Got stuck because of weather and the FBO was closing. I couldn't get out until 10:00 pm. They gave me a courtesy key to lock up after I left. Very friendly staff treated me like a corporate pilot even though I am just a little guy. Give these people your business!

2 Aug 09 - Fuel price as advertised. SS fuel pump is not located with the FBO so you have to taxi back over. Used the courtesy car and ate lunch at the Iowa Machine Shed...Awesome food!

Flew into Davenport to visit an old Army buddy. Great service from the FBO desk attendant and the lineman. Needed fuel and some air, and got both with a great deal of courtesy and care. Interestingly, I got the same high-quality service flying a Cessna 150 as the guy ahead of me flying an Oshkosh trophy winning modern aircraft. Thank you very much.   Flew into the Quad Cities for a few days and decided to skip the high prices at KMLI in favor of Carver Aero at KDVN. Very glad we did! Line crew met us on the ramp and was efficient at getting our little Diamond fueled and tied down tight. Staff inside was very helpful and friendly, and the facility was quite nice. We found the hangar cost to be very reasonable (with fuel purchase) when we decided to move it indoors for a night due to possible T-storms. Will use this as our base for all future visits to the QC area.

S/S pump is hard to find. It is NOT at the Carver FBO but is located well to the south of it so be advised. You must do some taxiing to find it and get to it.

From Isaac Witkowski on 06-Jun-2009

Two recent stops here this month. Friendly folks, although just ended up taxiing over to the self serve pump (not at FBO). Long runways, easy in and out.
