The mission of Sibran - Deer Valley is to provide the highest quality of Avgas as low prices to the General Aviation pilots of North Phoenix and Scottsdale.
The newly constructed self-serve Avgas station is conveniently located on the North Ramp at the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport.
This facility was constructed with safety and convenience as priorities. It offers easy taxi-in and taxi-out access for two airplanes to fuel simultaneously. No manual push-back or turn-around required. It is also well lighted for easy night-time operations.

I go over here from Scottsdale. The fuel is almost 2 dollars a gallon less and coming in on the North runway, you are in and out quickly. It is great that it helps keep the FBO's fuel prices in check. Too bad we can't get a self serve at Scottsdale.

This is a great way to save on fuel. However, it can be a hassle to cross both runways since there is usually a lot of traffic.

Inexpensive fuel but no bathroom or even trashcan by the fuel farm. Free short term parking is available across the field and the terminal between the two large FBO's.

SS had a .20/gal discount if you utilize a Texaco CC bringing the price down to $5.19. Clean and functional SS station w/ a rock solid ladder (important to us hi-wing operators), crystal clear large LED readout, and fast fuel transfer. Ask Deer Valley Ground for a progressive taxi if you're from out of the area and it may take a moment to cross over the parallel runway, but the savings are well worth the wait.

I still had some fuel but filling it up there was my plan. The Sibran self serv fuel place is way over on the north side of the airport, but it was 60 to 80 cents a gallon lower than the full serv fuel trucks. I wanted savings. We taxied over, got out, and my plan was to show my friend how this type of self-serv fuelling operation works. It didn't. The credit card transaction screen was locked up and we had no way to clear it. A neat feature there is their fuel tank extension forming an overhang to provide shade. Shade is so important in Phoenix in the summer months. A phone number for service was posted right in front of us so we called 602 320-6688. The serviceman answered and was on his way. He was out in less than 10 minutes. Another 5 minutes and he had it reset. All worked perfectly and we filled up. We also learned that there is a clean bathroom up the first ramp to the northeast of the fuel area.

Self-serve always works well, easy to operate, can handle two aircraft at once on both the north and south sides. Always clean and well maintained. Especially like the large electronic display of dollars and gallons that can be read from some distance away while fueling, so you know exactly how much you put in without having to set the nozzle down and run over to the pump to check. Prices are good, but local FBO's can also come close to matching for locals on field. The convenience of having Cutter or Atlantic come to you in a fuel truck may be worth a few cents more and not having to taxi across a busy training airport and two active runways for self service. Would be nice if it had an outhouse adjacent so pilots could fill up and "empty out" at the same stop. The real service they provide is keeping 100LL prices in line on the field since they opened and added some competition to the fueling marketplace.

I showed up at the Sibran pump last week to see both a blank screen and a beeping noise. I hustled over to the emergency button and shut down the station. I then called the number listed at the Station and Dan Olsen (President) answered and started off with an apology and said he would have his maint crew fix it right away. He apologized again and I left. Today, in the mail, I got a $25 gift card for my trouble (really wasn't any). That is a real "first class" operation!

I have done business with Sibran at their other location in Pueblo, CO, as well, and these people could write a book on customer service-VERY helpful with not only flying/airport info, but with Scottsdale information also. A-1.
