Runway in excellent condition and well marked, as is ramp with tie downs furnished. BEAUTIFUL terminal! Runway extension is scheduled to begin soon. FBO is currently in original facility adjacent to term. John Barbieri and son (Pelican Aviation) were helpful and cordial--both experienced lifelong GA mechanics if needed. On Feb. 4 Full Service 100LL $5.76. Glad I chose DYB vs CHS.

Fuel price for 100LL was $0.14/gallon higher than noted on AirNav.Com, and they would NOT honor the AirNav.Com price.

I planned a cross country flight to Summerville for a friends wedding based on the fact that KDYB's fuel was listed on here at a significantly lower price than any of the downtown airports. When I got there I found out the fuel was 43 cents a gallon more than advertised. The kind and courteous staff honored the price and made what would have been a frustrating situation turn out great. I do wish they had some sort of computer access for flight planning purposes though. All of your decision-making information must be gathered over the phone from a briefer. All in all a great place to stop if you're going to the Charleston, SC area.

Pelican Aviation personifies all that is great about general aviation. The owner gave us a ride to the rental car agency, which is about 25 miles away! They literally "go out of their way" to make your stop enjoyable.

After KJZI being so pricey ($60 plus tiedown), I decided to try this airport. Very very nice. Folks were friendly, helpful, good fuel price. Straight shot down I-26 to downtown.

Made an unscheduled fuel stop here, had me back in the air in 15 to 20 min. Have stopped here several times between PA & FL. Always the same good & friendly service.
