Great little Airport. Would recommend it to anyone flying into Duluth. I fly up to DYT from the cities in my Tri-pacer on a regular basis and the views are always amazing! If you need maintenance work, Jon the AE/IA at Jonathon Aero is among the nicest and most knowledgeable there is.

South Pier Inn is a favorite place to stay! Ride the bus from the airport (1 time/hour). Located at the base of the famous Duluth aerial lift bridge, you can watch ships pass by your window. Restaurants are an easy walk across the bridge - we like Thai joint on the east side of the road.
