KEDC was my economical go-to in the Austin area for many years. I visited the Henriksen Jet Center about 5 or so years ago (after the new FBO) and I found everything wonderful. I'm going back to Austin for another wedding so I inquired about their fees. Was I in shock! Not only full service fuel now $8.80 a gallon ($2.30 above self serve!) but landing fee (!) for my 210 is $30 waived with 15 gal fuel purchase, and ramp tiedown is $30 a night. No thank you. For those prices I think I will go back to KAUS and not drive another 30 minutes. I guess they just want corporate types.

I was working out of EDC quite a bit with a 441 and I had nothing, but excellent things to say about the way we were treated, the CSRs and the facility at Henriksen Jet Center. We also stopped into their sister location in TME and both make it very easy to return to happily as we got treated like superstars.

Upon arrival the line crew greeted our aircraft and help load the luggage right away with a very quick turn around. From touch down to wheels up 17 minutes, way to go. Great folks and service. Thank you from Independent Stave Company.

Simply the best service to date, anywhere. This is a must-see FBO. We parked under the cover, next to my rental car. Red carpets for both doors, bags loaded and a "sign and initial here, " and we were gone. When we arrived the next day to leave, my PAX enjoyed the great cookies, drinks, and beautiful items of interest inside the FBO. Meanwhile, I barely touched a bag loading up, had a quart of oil I needed neatly and quickly added, and a different competent, bright young man hovering just in case I needed anything else. More red carpets guided my PAX into the shade-cooled cabin, and we were off. First class. Seriously.... On par with the best in the nation! I copied most of what Robert stated previously as that was the reason I visited this FPO... Really outstanding!!

Prompt and friendly service as always regardless of what type of aircraft I fly here. Good treatment in my personal Piper Lance even though they were very busy. Very nice facility, and outstanding customer service. Big shout out to Brett for assisting with my departure late at night.

Stopped for two nights in my RV8 and was marshalled far from the terminal. Was offered no assistance with luggage. We were told first night fees were waived with fuel purchase. Upon leaving, we were charged a high fee for both nights and were told there was no tie down charge for single engine planes but there is a ramp fee. Very confusing and not very friendly stop.

Usually stop here often, but less so since pandemic. FBO is now a mobile trailer, fuel prices are high (which is ok), but they no longer wave over-night fees with fueling AND increased the over night price (staff says new management). Ramp activity was slow last stop, which may be due to all above. Hope they go back to their old customer service and fees.
