Nice self serve fuel facility. Best prices around. I'll be back!

Yes, it is a sleepy little airport, and the weather often seems to be 800 overcast, but the service if friendly and competent, and the fuel prices are always among the lowest; Rob, when absent, is readily available by phone.

Stopped overnight en-route to AirVenture. Myself and 3 other planes could not find the grounding wire at fuel pumps. Impossible to exit airport at 730pm due to closed gate. Had to wait for car to exit. No one home in the morning either but gate was open. Monroe cab does not run on Sundays.

Great new self-service pumps with lights and easy fueling. Good place to stop and eat a picnic lunch on the picnic tables.

I had starter problems when trying to depart KEFT after breakfast one recent Sunday A.M. And the help I rec'd from Rob (and some other pilots just hangin' around) was absolutely unbelievable. Would highly recommend "Touch and Go"--not to mention a trip into the town itself which was well worth it. Thank you.

Nice Airport, but currently no Fuel due to construction. According to the ATIS fuel should be available in January. I Highly recommend Baumgartner's for a Limburger cheese sandwich though.

Rob rocks! The city of Monroe however really needs to update the building they have there. Great place to get maint. Done. Rob is the best mechanic around, plus he has very resonable prices.

Was in Monroe last Thursday and Friday for a Beer and Limburger cheese sandwich. Had a great time. Rob was wonderful to deal with. This trip we came during the week versus the weekend and made arrangements with the local Ford dealership for a car rental. John at the dealership was very accommodating and good to work with for a rental. The fall colors were great. Rob's dog (ALI-I believe her name was-is a wonderful dog) is a great airport emissary. All airports should have one. In a previous post I made I was a little negative because I really had my heart set on a Limburger cheese sandwich and was unable to get one. Believe me folks-those sandwichs are really good regardless of the smell. Monroe is supposedly getting self serve next summer-which hopefully will be cheaper in addition to being more convenient. My wife and I are looking forward to our next trip. Thanks again to Rob and all those other good Wisconsin folk for making our trip so much fun.
