Great place for a fuel stop! Stopped there twice in four days and both times it was a very quick turnaround with very low-price fuel. Flying in and out was also generally very expeditious, and there are LPV approaches to both runways. Highly recommended for AVGAS.

Good stop. Kind of unplanned for fuel, and some not paying attention to time zones on our part got us there around 5:30PM. As we were shutting down, guy came out asking if we wanted fuel, and brought the truck over. After talking, we realized they had already closed for the day, and he just happened to be chatting with a local there and saw us come in. Figured we wanted fuel. Good thing he was right. Handed us the keys and said we could unlock the door and leave the keys in and he'd be there after finishing the fuel up. Great stop, and good prices. The runway does go up and down a bit, but shouldn't cause a problem at all, just looks odd when you are lined up to takeoff/land. Surfaces in good condition.

We like to take friends and family to eat at SIMON'S CATCH, just SW of Elk City. Those times when we fly, Don is always courteous and helpful, and makes sure we have access to a courtesy car. As far as we are concerned, KELK is the standard by which we measure all others. Compare prices of 100LL and you'll find they are some of lowest around.

I called at 7:30am local from KSUX; they answered the phone and prices for FS 100LL were still as advertised - $3.60 amazing! God bless them!

Not self-serve; park accordingly. Borrow the Buick to drive to the Route 66 Museum and Portabello, a decent restaurant nearby. Best fuel prices around. I'll be back.

I concur. Great fuel stop. Not only a low price with full-serve on Sunday but Don helped me resolve a low tire (leaking valve) problem by providing some tools, wing jacks, and air at no extra cost. A local pilot even offered to sell me a tube off his plane if we found the tube damaged. Very friendly stop!

Stopped at Elk City Oklahoma for a quick refueling. The folks at the FBO very great and very fast with the refueling. The fuel price was very good, probably one of the lowest around Oklahoma. They will be on my radar for flying through next time. Thanks guys.

Great fuel and overnight stop if you are heading across Oklahoma. Great fuel prices, friendly staff, and courtesy car available for night. Comfort Inn was quite nice, and Legends Steakhouse had great steaks, and good wine selection. Hard to beat!
