Landed my helicopter early Friday evening after coordinating for rental car and hotel a day in advance. Karen had car and printed directions to the hotel ready when I walked in. However, she advised the hotel would send a shuttle on request if I wanted to avoid the rental. I was really impressed with the friendly service and comfortable building. I filled up 60 gallons of Jet-A and the total of $10 in fees for overnight parking seemed perfectly reasonable to me. I consider earlier complaints of high fuel prices unreasonable, as aircraft are inherently more expensive than cars to operate. If the prices and luxury are too high, then stop flying or go somewhere else.

Plus: Nice facility & staff. Minus: After a previous visit where I dropped $1000+ to buy fuel, I stopped in to pick up *one* pax. I didn't need fuel and I was on the ramp for 10 minutes. I made the mistake of going inside where I was informed that I faced a $90 "drop fee" without a fuel purchase. OK... I opted to buy as much fuel as I could take. There was a lot of confusion behind the desk over the charges and I faced a "below minimum fuel" ramp fee of $160. Because it took nearly 40 minutes to sort out how to charge my fuel card, that issue got swept aside. Look Atlantic, since you monitor this website let me give you some advice. I get it and I believe in supporting FBOs with fuel purchases. In my Citation, that often adds up to a purchase of over $1000. HOWEVER, there are times, like this one, where taking fuel puts me over max landing wt. I don't visit FBOs with this sort of "extortionist" policy. I suggest you become more "customer friendly.

Came to EUG on an Angel Flight, Stephanie and Sarah were great. I did top off and there was a $5 security fee but there was a discount for AngelFlight flights of 40 cents. EUG has never had the best fuel prices but the facility and people were very nice. I would have said excellent if not for the Security Fee.

I have been going to Eugene/Flightcraft for years. Great people/great staff. Still the same people but with Atlantic now running the show and extortion for their "facility" charge and "security" charge - NO MORE. I continue to come to EUG but is not necessary to be subjected to Atlantic's shakedown tactics. There are two areas on the field at EUG where GA can park without paying Atlantic's fees. One of them is adjacent to their ramp just to the south. Call the EUG admin office for information. They may have the field/parking cornered at PDX but there are options to avoid at EUG. Paying for their overpriced fuel is not one of them in my opinion. Just say NO to Atlantic and maybe they might get the message.

The $40 "facility fee" is waived with a fuel top-off. That left $10 ramp/security fees plus $5/night parking for my small experimental. The staff was friendly, if somewhat constrained by policies.

Took a friend there yesterday to pick up his 185 that was parked at Atlantic due to weather. $15 parking fee and I was there less than an hour. Not even in a tiedown just parked and chocked. His fee was $50 for the week. To top it off a couple of the Eugene tower controllers were kinda rude.

New prices in effect at Eugene, much more than they used to be. The services seem to be the same and staff seems very helpful, the only reason for the poor rating is the very high price. $85 for overnight in a twin Piston Cessna. Wish they were still a local company. I would visit more often if it were less.

So long Flightcraft, hello $$$Atlantic$$$! Flightcraft used to be a nice, friendly reasonably priced FBO. I echo the comments below as to Atlantic'$ pricing structure.

Good service, but be aware of high fees. Parked two nights - $40 ramp fee, $5 security, and $10 dollars per night.

I wanted to land at EUG to meet relatives for lunch. Called Atlantic and was told there is a $40 tie-down fee for four hours. They would waive the fees if I bought fuel at $6.65 gallon. I do not call this a friendly FBO. Going to Creswell instead.
