Joe Zitzka, the onsite owner of Airgate and a recovered tax lawyer, is a pilot's pilot, and makes refueling at this FBO a learning and enjoyable experience. He owns a small fleet of airplanes but mostly flies a Super King Air 200, has a wealth of experience flying domestically in the Bahamas and domestically that he is more than willing to share, and charges only $5.67/gallon for Avgas. KEVB is a recently upgraded gem of an airport, with a flight school that can make the pattern a little busy at times.

Yes, there was a $15 fee to walk through from the apron to the Lost lagoon restaurant--but they have overhead and they certainly deserve the small fee.
