Great service. It is not a self-service fuel stop, so you have to watch for hours of operation. We stopped on our way out of KMCD to fuel. No crew car but the guy behind the counter loaned us his car, we fueled it for him. Diner downtown was fabulous, what a friendly town. Looks like great deer hunting in the area too. If it were much closer I would fly in more frequently.

Our group of eight airplanes, during our fly-around Lake Michigan stopped at Fremont Airport (8/16/09) for fuel. The staff at the airport was friendly and the FBO had ice cream and sodas inside. Parachute operations were going on with spectators watching the jumpers. Quick and easy in and out.

I stopped by for fuel on my way back to the UP. The fuel price was very reasonable. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. Parachute jumping was going on at the time of my arrival and departure. They had a decent crowd watching on the ground. It looks like they may be adding a taxiway on the east side of 36/18.

Stopped in Sunday, Sept 16 for fuel. We were returning to the Chicago area after watching our daughter's volleyball beat the team at Ferris State in Big Rapids (KRQB). Fuel service was fast and friendly. Price was right, too. Parachute jumping is frequent, so listen up on the radio. I recommended 3FM to another member in our club heading to Mackinac. Thanks!

Landed here for fuel on way to Oshkosh because the airport was listed on the EAA AirVenture page as supporting Oshkosh-bound pilots with "great fuel prices and various AirVenture related activities". Well, if you consider $4.20 per gallon a great price...With no Oshkosh discount, and a dead FBO with no way to get a healthy lunch as being supportive of Oshkosh and General Aviation you would have been happy. My family was not. Not an ethical operation to list themselves on the AirVenture site in order to lure pilots and then sticking it to them with some of the highest fuel prices in the area. My previous stop had Oshkosh fuel at $3.79 per gallon. I'll petition EAA to make sure this outfit does not pull this stunt next year.
