		Always a great fuel stop on my way to/from northern Michigan.

		I was running a little low on fuel and I didn't want to cross the big lake without a top off. So I checked my gps and found this wonderful stop over. Clean, ice cream and soda for $1.00. Plus cheap fuel. What more could I ask for. I even stopped in on my way home from OSH.

		7/21/10 - I can't say enough wonderful things about this airport and it's great staff. We were on the way to Oshkosh and stopped in for fuel (best prices all around). On departure, my generator belt snapped and I had to return to land. I figured that would be the end of my OSH adventure. John had the belt I needed and he and Mike began repairing the Viking Witch (N8388W) immediately (ps it was already 5:00 pm and they didn't hesitate to begin work). They did an excellent job and are truly good people and really came through for us in a pinch. Thanks so much! We'll be back to see ya'll and I'm coming back for my annual all the way from Philly. They are just that good! Thanks again John and Mike.

		Excellent destination. Cheapest fuel in the area, and the friendliest staff around. John has always gone out of his way to take care of me. Drop into Fremont. You won't be disappointed.

		Great service. It is not a self-service fuel stop, so you have to watch for hours of operation. We stopped on our way out of KMCD to fuel. No crew car but the guy behind the counter loaned us his car, we fueled it for him. Diner downtown was fabulous, what a friendly town. Looks like great deer hunting in the area too. If it were much closer I would fly in more frequently.

		Our group of eight airplanes, during our fly-around Lake Michigan stopped at Fremont Airport (8/16/09) for fuel. The staff at the airport was friendly and the FBO had ice cream and sodas inside. Parachute operations were going on with spectators watching the jumpers. Quick and easy in and out.
