I stopped at FOM on Oct 29, 2009 for jet fuel and found it to be a real nice stop. The self service pumps worked well and the price was lowest in the area. The manager lives on property came out to visit which was a surprise for a Sunday morning. I will stop here again.

I stopped at FOM for fuel on October 3, 2009 and it was a good fuel stop. No oil was available at the time. The airport manager said she would have some available soon.

Stopped for fuel on the way back to California. Very nice place but a bit spartan. The runway is newly repaved and in excellent condition. There is no taxiway so you have to back-taxi. The pilot's lounge is new but it's just an air-conditioned room with a couch. No table, lamps, chairs, Internet or anything else. The bathroom is also new and very clean. There is a chilled water fountain but it is in the hangar so you might miss it. The tiedown area has no ropes or chains but if you ask the airport manager (who lives in the house right there) she will provide some good strong ropes to tie down. The courtesy car is in excellent shape (better than my own car!) and the "Garden of Eat'N" is a very nice restaurant on the far side of town. I'll be back.

Fuel was $3.75 as advertised. Nice clean facility...Did not avail myself of the courtesy car.

We stopped here on the way home from Oshkosh for fuel...Good fuel price, pump in good condition, air-conditioned pilot rest area, and clean bathroom. They also have a very nice courtesy car. I will stop here again.

Had a funeral to attend in Scipio. Arranged for the crew car and filled up with low price fuel. All went very well without hassles even when I needed the car for several hours.

I'm hoping the City of Fillmore has been watching the price drop in Avgas in many states, including ones here in the southwest. Many nearby states are now seeing mid $3gal. Avgas prices and less. I think Utah, as a whole, is a little behind the curve and hopefully will become more competitive soon to help out General Aviation types like myself. Anything to make GA more affordable is greatly appreciated. Not trying to be negative here but just curious why Avgas prices are so high in Utah while high tax states such as California have some Avgas prices in the $3.50gal. Range? Glad to hear the ASOS is up and running now.

I have made it a habit to stop and get Jet A on my frequent flights between So Cal & Heber. Great fuel stop and friendly people (although we are usually the only people around). Don't count on the ASOS, though- it has been incorrect or inop every time we have stopped there. I also thank the Fillmore folks for making general aviation more affordable!!!

Response from Marlene Cummings, Fillmore City Recorder, Fillmore Municipal Airport
The AWOS system has been corrected and is working accurately at this time. Fillmore City is sorry for any inconvenience the system may have caused while it was not working accurately.

Fillmore is a great, friendly place to stop and get some reasonably priced gas. They have been the best-kept secret being that they usually have some of the cheapest 100LL/Jet A in Utah. Thanks to the city of Fillmore for making General Aviation more affordable. I only wish other airports in the state would follow suit. I have had the opportunity to meet the airport manager and the city mayor, while at the airport re-fueling. Very nice people with a positive attitude towards aviation. Very refreshing indeed.

Landed for fuel on return to KSLC. New Pumps, nice ramp. Looking forward to making it my main fuel stop when en route to/from Northern and Southern UTAH.

From John Wilson on 30-Sep-2008

Stopped for fuel Sept 11, prices as advertised. Pumps are at north end of field, a fact not immediately obvious because there are no large signs. Until new building is finished, porta-potties (clean) are the only facilities. Nice stop, good runway, open approaches.

From George Moussa on 08-Jul-2008

We stopped in a 90GTi because of the attractive fuel price. Brand new self serve pumps. No FBO yet as they are still rebuilding their operation. Great price and Yvonne came out to help us wash up after pumping gas. She was very nice. No other services except gas and a port-a-potty. I plan on using them again and would recommend them to anyone.

From Michael Bailey on 30-Jun-2008

I haven't been here since the airport re-opened, but prior to the re-furbishing it was a great little fuel stop with very helpful folks that got me by in a pinch even though the fuel pump was on the fritz. If they are up and running for business I highly recommend patronizing a great FBO.
