I have been dealing with Atlantic for years, and have found them to be well run, professional and always willing to go the extra mile. While their fuel and parking costs may seem high for someone not used to New York Metro area prices, a quick check of surrounding airports shows that their prices are average to slightly below others. Well worth the cost for the superior service one will find at Atlantic.

Arrived on Saturday left on Monday.. Not only will I not pay that OUTRAGEOUS fuel price, they charge $20.00/night parking and some really ridiculous thing they call a "Security fee." 2 nights $54.00. Additionally, when I arrive at the front desk for my departure, I gave the young lady my tail number and she goes to the arrival screen to see if my aircraft is coming, hello, anybody home? Personally, I use AirNav to find good places that support aviation, not help finish it off.

Flew in for a few hours, very helpful and very nice FBO. Fuel is crazy but I didnt need any so no harm there. I will be back if the need for this airport arises again.

I have had an account with Atlantic Aviation since 2003, first at BDR and then FRG. The staff and service are (second to none) excellent. The facilities always immaculate. Ramp tie down, fuel top off and courtesy car make our visits to family in the greater NY area, trouble free.

Very nice place - we were in town for a funeral and we were parked and plugged in for the day for the cost of a 15 gal top off - crew cars available although we made other arrangements.

I had to fly my Mother from Boston to Long Island for medical care, and sent a few blind emails out to the FBOs at Republic looking for information. I received a very quick reply back from Colleen at Atlantic, who answered all of my questions, and offered one of the crew cars to us for a few hours to drive to the Doctor. Upon arrival, we were met by two of the line service staff that greeted us and insured that all of our needs would be met. Once inside, the keys to the crew car were ready for us. Upon return, the plane was fueled as promised. They have a comfortable lounge area with couches and a TV plus a nice flight planning room. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Aviation if you find yourself at FRG!

It's a real comfort to arrive at an unfamiliar airport and be treated like an old friend. We had to fly down from KROC for the day to go to Beth David cemetery in Elmont. I had e-mailed a few days earlier asking about crew cars. They reserved one for me and had me on my way in a matter of a few minutes. The ladies at the desk grabbed the car key with my name on it and gave me directions to the Southern State parkway. Meanwhile, the line crew towed my plane to a parking spot and fueled it. There was no charge for anything but the fuel. I really appreciate how well I was treated. The phones in the crew room even had Flight Services on speed dial.

A little tip for anyone headed to Long Island. If you leave room for 15 gallons of fuel (or more), Atlantic Aviation will waive their service fee (usually $40) in return for a top-off. While most FBOs that charge parking fees do that, what's nice about Atlantic is that they have four crew-cars and are pretty willing to give them out as long as they are available. I borrowed a 2009 Camry today for five hours to go down to Captree State Park for a fishing trip. Really nice folks at Atlantic Aviation.... Stacey Carlow helped me out.

I've only flown into FRG a few times, and service was good at both SheltAir and Atlantic. Currently fuel is quite a bit lower at Atlantic, so they got my business this time. This is one busy GA airport. When I departed one of the runways were closed and they were stacked up to land and to take off. It took me half an hour to get an IFR departure. There is an interesting mix of training in C172s mixing it up with Gulfstreams and Citations. Also, plenty of helicopters and warbirds. My instrument departure took me out to the south then west right to JFK before I was turned back northeast over the traffic to Bridgeport.

My wife and I flew our Skymaster in this past Friday for a wedding over the weekend. Hertz car was brought immediately out to plane. Inside folks took my fuel order and we were on our way. On return the following Monday, our plane was sitting right up front waiting for us. Great customer service from all involved. Well done!
