Helpful and friendly people! I called ahead to say I was staying the night due to weather and planned an early departure and was given access to the courtesy car. The new, and very nice, Comfort Inn gave me a pilot discount. Someone will pump fuel if during office hours and self serve available otherwise.

When my wife and I arrived at French Lick the rental car was waiting and the lineman helped us with our bags. That night the airport manager called me at the hotel and described a problem with the nose wheel tire on the Arrow. The mechanic replaced the tire the next day. When we arrived at the airport to go home the plane was fueled and ready to go. Great service and an excellent job fixing the tire problem. The new FBO building is also nice with a good briefing room. The West Baden Springs hotel is fantastic. It is worth a stop at the hotel just to see the lobby. Take the hotel shuttle to the Hagen's Club House Restaurant on the Donald Ross Golf Course for dinner. The food is better and much less expensive than the hotel.

Visited French Lick on 10/10/11. Wonderful service for parking and getting fuel. Amazing FBO. Shuttle car to casino waiting on us when we landed. The French Lick Hotel is no longer serving all-you-can-eat buffet lunch on a regular basis. May call ahead to verify.

When they say "AS" they mean it - two very nice gentlemen pumped the gas for us while our picnic lunch was eaten in the terminal. Nice long runway in the beautiful south Indiana hills is hard to beat.

We made a fuel stop returning from Oshkosh. This is one of the best run municipal airports I have flown into. The terminal was new, clean and open. The fuel was priced fair and the self service area in top notch condition. You cannot go wrong stopping here.

We flew in several times over four days for business purposes. The staff at the airport went above and beyond what we expected. Brian did a great job and went out of his way to be present after hours even though we didn't need him to be there. The FBO is very nice, quiet and comfortable. The staff helped us out by shuttling rental cars around. This airport ranks in my top choices of municipal FBO's.

We stopped by on our way to and from Oshkosh, mainly because of their great fuel price on 100LL. The new lavishly furnished FBO building was a wonderful place to relax for a couple of hours on the way north. On the way home we stopped again for a top-off and lunch. No courtesy car was available, so the Airport Manger personally drove us to town to pick-up lunch. He also gave us a tour of French Lick and the beautiful hotel-casino resorts. We are currently planning trip back for an overnight trip. Great Airport, Wonderful Service!

A great stop: obviously a town that values the airport. Excellent facilities, Internet available for planning, all of the fuel equipment well cared for & met at the plane within minutes for assisted fueling on a holiday weekend. Greatly appreciated!

Absolutely great little airport! Winds are a little back and forth on final approach because of the valleys and the AWOS is 30 minutes off, but still a very easy place to land and the cheapest fuel prices around. Nice FBO too.

The airport is in great shape, and the new terminal is beautiful! FBO very friendly and go out of their way to assist. Fuel prices are excellent. This is a nice retreat for those who own timeshares.

Stopped at KFRH this afternoon, on a Sunday. The terminal was locked up, couldn't use the bathrooms or even get to the vending machines for refreshment. The fuel pump timed out before I could get moved over to the other wing of my 182. Had to start all over again. After a long day and several more hours of flying to go, not what I wanted to do. The only good thing was the fuel price was as advertised on AirNav. Response from Brian J. Payne, Airport Manager, French Lick Municipal Airport Employees are present at the Terminal Building from 9 AM to 5 PM 7 days per week. Access to restrooms, phones, and vending are available 24 hours a day via keycode entry with our unicom frequency. There is also a posted pager number on the front door should you need immediate assistance.

If you have not stopped at the French Lick airport...Land and request a shuttle to French Lick Hotel and the Hotel at West Baden. You will be amazed at the level of service and retreat possibilities. It will become a favorite get-away. Golf, Spa, Bowling, Hotel, Shopping (Hotel and Downtown French Lick), Casino, Several Restaurants, Carriage Rides, World Class entertainment at Hotel shows...And much more. The gateway is the airport at French Lick. (Which by car, is not real easy to get to, but by air is simple.)

Had planned to land at Bloomington, Ind. On the way up to Oshkosh, but were waylaid due to thunderstorms. This airport was a pleasant surprise...Long runways, pleasant FBO personnel, etc. While we used the temporary FBO trailer, they are in the final stages of a brand new, large, attractive FBO building. Should be done in August 2009. It's good to see new infrastructure at GA airports...Give them some business, if you can.
