My son and I dropped into Hill for the day to see a local attraction. Their service was among the best that I have ever received anywhere. That day we chose to arrive in our RV-6 and simple fill the tip tanks (about 10 gallons). Despite the modest fuel purchase they gave us top-notch service and even offered to drop us off and pick us up later in the evening. Too much. All Atlanta airports have outrageous fuel prices, but the service level that we received helped ease the pain. Great job guys!!!!

I flew our Cessna 182 into Hill this week for a business meeting in Atlanta. The experience was excellent. Line crew was there promptly and brought the rental car right to the plane. On departure, they even removed the cover on the plane. It was rolled it up neatly by the door of the plane when we got out onto the ramp (this is a first for me). Also, driving into downtown Atlanta is quick and easy. Glad we chose Hill and KFTY.

Any large city has FBOs that provide services for the crews. What Hill has in addition to that is outrageous fuel prices. $6.34 at Hill when Newnan has the same fuel for $3.84. That is gouging. I will not be back nor will I schedule the two turbine King Airs I operate into Hill.
Response from Guy Hill Jr., Hill Aircraft & Leasing Tony, I appreciate your comments. As you have seen at the local gas pump, Jet fuel is up over 50 cents cost in the last 45 days. Airports that don't pump a lot of fuel may have inventory that they purchased 60 or more days ago. Thus the pricing at these airports will be much lower than current pricing. We turn our inventory twice a week and are tied to current pricing. I certainly feel your pain when our charter aircraft visit airports around the country to purchase fuel. We guarantee our prices that are listed on Airnav so you will know what the price is before you arrive at our facility.

Called Hill prior to a weekend visit to Atlanta. On landing my rental car was waiting, with directions to my hotel inside. Great service all around. Expensive fuel but after all it is Atlanta.

Flew in for SEC Championship game early Sat morning. Reasonable service on arrival. Rental car was waiting and decent ramp service. Fuel is expensive, but to be expected in ATL. Left early Sunday, and service was lacking. Paid for fuel and parking fee, then spent several minutes driving the rental through rows of planes in the dark looking for our parking spot. Loaded and untied the plane, returned the rental car to the parking space, returned the keys and then made the long walk back to the plane in the cold and dark while two lineman sat inside chatting. I don't expect Gulfstream service in our PA-28, but definitely got the feeling that we were more of a nuisance than anything. Maybe just too early on a Sunday.
Response from Guy Hill Jr., Hill Aircraft & Leasing Mr. Ross, We pride ourselves in providing service to our customers. In your case it sounds like we did not. I would be happy to credit you fees. Please send me an email at Guy@hillaircraft.com and I will get it credited. I hope that you will give us an opportunity to make it up to you on your next visit to Atlanta.

I recently had to divert to FTY and had to leave my Baron at Hill for two days. The fuel was expensive, but the quality of the line staff and counter girls was excellent. When I left my aircraft, I knew it was going to be well taken care of. Overall a good experience, with a helpful staff.

Hats off to the folks at Hill Aviation, Fulton County during NBAA week. These people really have a handle on customer service and did a fantastic job under very demanding conditions. Made a tough week for us a very enjoyable experience! Thank You.

We had a "rushed up" trip to Atlanta and emailed our request for Line Service and a Rental Car to this FBO. Within 5 minutes, we had a phone call back regarding our request from very, very friendly and helpful personnel. Upon arrival at FTY, we were directed by the tower to the FBO, which is very visible, large ramps and great parking. Line personnel parked us quickly, delivered our car to us and we were out of there on our business excursion. Upon arrival back at the FBO, we came back to the ramp and our plane was waiting for us just where we left it. The FBO is so nice. Lemonade and Popcorn, great Flight Planning and great facility. We recommend this FBO and we will surely be back there.

Flew into FTY from 2R0 on 4/28/07 with wife and grandkids for an impromptu day visit to Georgia Aquarium. Taxied to Hill because it was closet after exiting RWY. Lady at the desk was very helpful - even though I had not called ahead she had a rental car and directions in minutes. Returned a few hours later and they had me ready to go in minutes. Arrived in a Beech Sundowner, bought 29 gallons of fuel, and was treated like we were VIPs in a Gulfstream spending $thousands. Thanks to all the nice folks at Hill!

Came in for the final four in our Aztec. Great service, met the plane, took the bags to the rental car, which was waiting. Plane was ready for us to leave two days later. Great facility. Passengers waited on comfortable furniture and plasma TV’s, while I was in a modern flight planning room. Worth the price of admission. Actually, cheap for the immediate area.

Flew in last Friday for a family event. As one lineman guided me to the parking line a second one pulled my Hertz rental car near the plane then preceded to help me move the luggage from the plane to the car. WOW. As soon as I entered the FBO the girls at the desk greeted my wife and me by name and had the rental car paperwork completed. We were out of the FBO 13 minutes after I shut the engine off. They were courteous, warm and results oriented. A fantastic combo. I am impressed and pleased. I will go back.

Recently moved my airplane to have it closer to home. At first, the higher costs scared me away. But on initial landing, I immediately noticed a HUGE difference in customer care. Facilities are very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is helpful and courteous. The line staff is FANTASTIC! Upon a recent trip from Chicago, the line guy noticed that my plane was packed with luggage. He asked me for my car keys, ran to the front and brought my car to the airplane (all without me asking!) (I have other stories too!) Customer service is still alive and well at Hill Aircraft in Atlanta, GA. By the way, they provide all this great service and I own a 'lil 'ole Piper Tomahawk. Kudos!

What you would expect in a local Atlanta airport. Everything costs much more money. Line guys are great but avoid the girls at the desk. They are the type that thinks they know it all when in truth they know nothing. Came in a month ago and asked for cab to downtown. They ordered me a $90 limo that was some friend of theirs. Couldn't believe it.
Response from Guy Hill Jr., Hill Aircraft & Leasing Jeff, I want to apologize for your transportation issue in December. We work hard to make every visit to our facility the best that it can be. In the month of December we were having a problem with timeliness of the local taxi service. The transportation we arranged was to be just a few dollars more than the cost of the taxi. Depending on where you were going downtown, the taxi ride would be $25-$30. If you will fax me your billing on the Limo with an address, I will refund the $60 additional that you were charged. I hope that you will allow us to make up this issue on your next visit to Atlanta. Fax #678-537-6275

On September 28, 2006 I had an alternator fail. Upon landing at Fulton County I told line service and with in five minutes had the head of maintenance on the phone. We did not get to finish our trip but everyone from line service to the front desk to maintenance treated us like family, I have never had service with that kind of dedication. Congrats to all!!!!!!

I go to 10-30 FBOs a week. Went into FTY and Hill for the first time last week. They have the best customer service I've ever experienced. I came in late at night in chilly drizzle after a long day of flying. Ramp personnel had the fuel truck and my rental car at the plane as soon as I shut down. One programmed the Rental car GPS with instructions to my Hotel while the other fueled my plane and asked about my departure time and needs for the next day. The lady at the counter had already made all my hotel and rental car arrangements, and provided mapquest directions to augment the GPS. I was on my way to a warm room and comfy bed within a few minutes of landing!

Wonderful experience 7/2/6. Treated like royalty with full service delivered by nice people. Very nice experience; highly recommended.

Just spent another weekend @ FTY. Appears all renovations and upgrades to the facilities are complete. It's very apparent that Guy Hill Senior and Larry Westbrook (both accomplished pilots) are aware of what customers in there industry require. A special "THANK YOU" to the weekend line staff, and especially Candace, the CSR, for taking such good care of our passengers, and of course the flight crew, needs.

Have been in and out over the last few days, several times. Each time we have dropped off passengers and uploaded fuel for a quick turn. Each turn was 20 minutes or less. Line service has been on top of us the whole time. Will be loading all those passengers at the end of the week, I'm sure the service will be the same. Thanks guys.

Updated facility with modern amenities looks great! Very comfortable pilot and passenger lounges with new recliners, multiple flat screen TV's, wireless Internet access, friendly staff, etc. FBO waived very modest parking/handling fees for KingAir 200 with ANY fuel purchase.

I flew my C-182 for a six-hour stay. The line and counter personnel were friendly, helpful, and professional. They did not charge a ramp or any other kind of fee. The remodeled facility looks great! A top-notch FBO - I'll be back!

Recently had another visit to Hill Aircraft. As always, the service was great. Arrived during moderate rain and the line guys were at the plane with umbrellas and the passenger's rental car before we could get the cabin door open. They assisted with the baggage and we didn't even get wet! The CSRs were top notch and most helpful as always. They are nearing completion on the remodeling and it's going to be first class. Now they will have a facility to match the service they provide. I agree that the fuel is a little high, (it's high everywhere) but you get a lot of service for your money at Hill Aircraft. I look forward to returning after the improvements are complete.
