I entered a previous comment about being over fueled and over charged, along with the fueler's comments that occasionally his meter "turned over" as an explanation. The World Jet manager, Mr. Steven Dennis, saw my comment, took immediate action and called me with an apology. He then credited my account for the 6.4 gals of fuel I didn't actually receive. He was quite upset about the customer service I commented about. I'd written all this off as nothing I could do about it and it was extremely refreshing to deal with Mr. Dennis. I'll be back!

WORLD JET EAST at FXE - I fly a Piper Warrior and I have 2300 hours in it (over 22K total flt time). I know what it burns and am always within a gallon - TWO AT THE MOST - when I land and refuel. I knew I'd need 20 gals when I refueled at ATP but when I came out the next morning to pay for it they had charged me for 26.4 gals. I challenged that and the fueler told the lady at the desk "the counter may have rolled over during the refueling" and told me that it does it occasionally. WHAT?!! I ended up paying for 6.4 gals of fuel that I did NOT get ($38.91) and I had NO recourse. This is LOUSY business! What sort of "well, the counter rolls over now and then" and you "pay your money and take your chances" operation...!? Throughout the other three legs I was - as usual - right on the money with my fuel computations. Heads up at World Jet East...!

This is not the place for the pilots to hang out and wait. They have the basics, but NOTHING else. No TV or lounge. No crew car or an offer to take you anywhere for food (but they tell you that you can walk to Wendy’s, Arbys, or McD's...Yea!). The ramp is very crowded and awkward. They do not fall all over themselves to provide good customer service either. Fuel prices are only competitive. We will go elsewhere next time.

They changed their stay policy without notice and now charge for overnight parking after 1 day. The previous policy was to let you stay 15 consecutive days without charge. Two months after my last stay I got a bill for $125. New policy negates most of the advantages that FXE once had over other local airports. We will go elsewhere.

Always great service and the best fuel prices on the field. The friendly staff is always there to greet you and help with bags. We use Budget Rental Cars and they are a few blocks away but will pick you up. Prices are much better than Enterprise. If you do use Enterprise, reserve the cars online before you get there to get their best price.

Parked there for 5 days at end of 2011, always friendly and staff treats you very well. Enterprise rent folks are great and very customer focused- ask for Stan or Wayne.

I stopped at FXE November 9th to clear customs, refuel and grab some lunch, and make a quick meeting after returning from the Bahamas. I checked in with the FBO 2 weeks earlier and thought I was all set. I called from customs to let them know I was on the way over and would like a crew car and a top-off. I was informed they DO NOT have any crew cars or courtesy transportation but they'd be happy to set me up with a rental. I asked them why their website advertised crew cars and got no response. Well, its 2 weeks later and they're still advertising crew cars. I hung up the phone and taxied over to their well known competitor and gladly paid higher fuel prices. At least they provide what they advertise.

This was my first visit to Ft. Lauderdale by air and I came in expecting the worst. Was pleasantly surprised that with what I found though. Good customer service, and my line fee was waived for an overnight stay even though I didn't purchase fuel. My plane was parked in the middle of nowhere, but considering what I didn't have to pay for it, those guys were the best!

Great experience. Line guys and office staff very friendly and helpful. Enterprise is convenient and well managed. Located remotely in corner of field but easy to access.

World Jet is my place at FXE! Traveled on 12/27 for 2 nites. Ramp was crowded no problem. Line crew helpful an attentive. Enterprise car station is the best. Low prices and cars always available. Fuel purchase waives parking fees. Kelly works very hard to make you happy.

These guys had the lowest fuel price. They stuck way in the NE corner of the airport with not a lot of room but they managed fine with my Mooney. Lots of larger planes too. One very important note. RENTAL CAR: Renting Enterprise online was HALF the price of calling the Enterprise office on site.... Even if you tell them you are a customer of World Jet. The Enterprise office is in their building.... Walk thru one door from the lobby to Enterprise, VERY convenient. The FBO should tell folks to price the cars online also, not just call direct. My bill for two days was like $55 instead of $105 I will use World again.

World Jet's people have proved helpful, honest, and friendly, and their 100LL is generally the least expensive. They aren't there just to collect ramp fees unlike other FBO's.
