The airport restaurant is open: lunch & dinner weekdays, on weekends breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Good food in a nice clean atmosphere. Great service from the FBO and very reasonable fuel ($.10/gallon discount for restaurant patrons).

Arrived after hours at 6:15 after a flight from Massachusetts. Thought I would have to relieve myself behind a hangar but they keep the building open complete with a lounge, computer room, vending machines and restrooms. Nice, well maintained airport in the Delaware countryside. Makes a good fuel stop if heading North/South along the coast.

Flew in to Georgetown the other day to meet with clients. The nice thing about Georgetown Air is they make me feel like I just rolled up in a Gulfstream rather than my Cherokee. Always greeted with a great big smile, I needed to borrow a courtesy car, which they happily lent to me. They do a great job and always take care of me when I fly in.

Flew in there to attend a youth baseball tournament. They welcomed us by radio and directed us to parking and had our rental car already on the ramp. Garret was very friendly and helpful getting us fuel and giving us directions to our hotel and the baseball fields. I hope we can go back. Good restaurant in the terminal. We had an early lunch and liked it so well we brought a group of players and their families there a couple days later.

We flew up from the Florida Keys to visit family in the northeast; got set down at GED by weather late afternoon. After deciding to say, we tried calling several cabs to go to the motel, left messages and got no responses. Finally, Greg saw how discouraged we were getting and took pity on us with the courtesy van. Greg is our hero!!!

Flew in on a beautiful Sunday for breakfast. Unlike my prior visits the ramp was empty, and I was ready to panic that the Lighthouse was closed. Never fear, within minutes the planes started rolling in and the place filled up. We were glad to get our order in early. They still give 0.10 off per gal if you eat at the restaurant, and if you fill out the paperwork you'll get another 0.23 per gal back from the State for the tax refund.

Great, well-maintained field. We flew in for the day during the off-season (November) to visit a friend's house and no complaints at all. Taxied up, tied down and ten minutes after walking into the terminal, we were fueled and paid. Prices were very competitive. No landing or ramp fees for a single engine for the day. Apparently the restaurant on the field is very good.

My wife and I have been visiting GED at least twice each summer season for long weekends at the beach. Garrett and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We received the golf cart treatment for our luggage and the fuel prices are reasonable. The restaurant food is excellent as well. Nice facility and great folks.

Good experience - were met by the line person upon arrival with a golf cart - they fueled us and put air in our nose gear before departure as we had asked. The facility is very clean and neat - will definitely return in the near future. If you like crabs - go into town to Lazy Susan's - the best!
