After reading the comments posted by the good doctor on Aug. 10th, I was prompted to note that we have stopped at GEY and used B&G services several times and have ALWAYS received the very best of service and hospitality. Can't really improve on our experience. By the way the full service fuel is less expensive than the self-serve.

From Larry C. Roberts, MD on 10-Aug-2010

I stopped at South Big Horn on 30 July enroute to Butte. What a mistake. Because of a dispute with the county, B & G refuses toilet and flight planning facilities to anyone who does not purchase full-service gas from them. Even if you want to buy their gas, no one is available except by phone call. A Port-a-Potty sits next to the self-service pump, but it stank to high heaven. No place to even get a drink of water. B & G is cutting off its nose to spite its face. I will never use this airport again, and I will avoid doing business with B & G.

Response from Karl Bertagnole, Owner, B & G Industries, LLC
I was surprised to read the comment written by Larry Roberts. I have checked with every person that works at B&G and nobody had a conversation with you regarding your comments. Nobody refused restroom use, and nobody refused flight-planning access. Although it is true that we have closed the old office building, we are located in that brand new state-of-the-art hangar building that says B&G Industries on it. Our fuel trucks are parked in front of the old hangar area. Our full service fuel price is cheaper than the County's Self Service price and we LOVE our customers. May I ask who put you up to writing this comment? May I also invite you to actually contact us next time for any fuel, restrooms, flight planning or any other services that you may need. I will personally assure you of a quality experience.

B&G goes out of its way to welcome and provide. Excellent fuel price from the truck. Courtesy car for overnight in neat old town. Good eats, nice Mom and Pop motels. Airport is a "fire bomber" base so some neat old stuff lying around. New runway under construction. Will stop again.
