Stopped in for the July 4th weekend. All the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The staff made it a real pleasure to visit, but GFK is very expensive. $15 handling fee waived with fuel purchase. 100LL was $5.75, the highest in the entire region.

The FBO and the controllers here at Grand Forks were nothing but professional we had taken off in our Cheyenne and need to come back to the airport as a inspection door on the left engine had come open we were vectored in very quickly to land and shut the door. Be aware of the large amount of student training, when we were on short final we had to dive to the runway to avoid a student pilot that had turned onto base when the tower had told him not to.

My Cessna 172 was tied down at the GFK Flight Support FBO for a week in April 2008. I was met by very friendly and helpful staff. I filled the tanks once and there was no tie-down fee for the week. I was very happy with the service. But another incident impressed me. The Grand Forks International Airport snow removal crews damaged my Cessna’s cowl cover. GFK Flight Support informed me of the incident, reviewed the security tape, repaired the cowl cover temporarily to allow me to get home and then pursued the airport for me to recover the cost of the repairs. When recovery became a protracted process, GFK Flight Support, paid me the full cost of the damage and indicated they would continue to pursue reimbursement from the airport administration. I was grateful, deeply appreciative and impressed with this gesture. I recommend GFK Flight Support to any one visiting Grand Forks.

Not very friendly, I would recommend refueling at Fargo or Crookston. They overcharge for fuel for what they provide. The line staff is very nice but the managment and front desk think that they are Million Air. They operate out of a hangar currently and require a slow shuttle van to take you across the gates. I'm dissapointed in the price I paid and the service I received.
