We stopped in our C182 for lunch and found the museum to be charming (but tiny). The staff is VERY friendly, the bathrooms and Gas are open 24H. We used an empty T hangar for shade.

Great people, great service. The folks at the Iowa Aviation Museum provide the fuel and collect the payment for the city. We stopped by on the 4th of July and bought 100LL. They charged $3.15 and I commented that I expected the price to be $3.02, but I could easily be mistaken. I payed and forgot all about it. When we got home, there was a check waiting (with a real nice letter of apology). The director of the museum called the city on the 5th and found out that the price had been dropped and she immediately sent the price difference. Great folks there.
