I have used a lot of very good FBO's, but this may be the finest one I have ever experienced. We arrived unannounced in our Baron and experienced truly first class service. Lizette is fabulous; she spent a half hour working on finding us a hotel on a very busy Friday evening, and then arranged drop-off and pick-up for us. West Star, their staff and their facility set a very high standard and provided a great experience for us.

This operator is first class, but the prices reflect it. They want 250 bucks a night to hangar a Bonanza. It is quite plain that they do not want Bonanza class airplanes stopping at their facility. It is a shame they enjoy a monopoly on service at Grand Junction. It is a nice city, but I will do my best to avoid landing there. Just shows what a lack of competition breeds.

We just picked up our Citation X from being painted by West Star and couldn't be happier. We spent several days at the FBO in the process, and were very impressed by the facilities and the people in paint, FBO, maintenance, and avionics. Everyone was more than willing to help and everything was done on time and with excellent quality and value. This is a wonderful place all around, and I would highly recommend it!

OK, so it's Xmas Eve one year later and I'm back for another visit to G.J. Lizette at the customer service desk seems to work all the holidays that fall on weekends, and here is yet another Christmas she spends helping us folks instead of staying home with her family. Great service, a beautiful luxurious facility, coffee service better than Starbucks and reasonable fuel and overnight prices. I just wish we could put a West Star in Phoenix, San Diego, Van Nuys, and Las Vegas... You get the idea.

We always stop here on our way to Lake Havasu City. Great service, very friendly people, beautiful facilities, easy in and out. Oh ya, the coffee and popcorn is great too.

This is an outstanding FBO! It is very modern, clean and makes you feel like you just came in off a jet! Reasonable fuel prices, extremely friendly staff and superb facilities make this my choice when going to Grand Junction.

Consistently a great stop for fuel, and if needed, overnight. Very clean and well groomed FBO with a great coffee bar, almond toffee for the trip out, Internet and Wx computers, big flatscreen TVs and very friendly and efficient service. Easy in and out airport. Many hotels on airport drive. It's always a pleasure to stop here.

Stopped in for fuel and a lunch break on Aug. 22, 2010. Quizzed the FBO about the availability of a vehicle for lunch. They were most gracious and provided a company Ford Expedition, the nicest airport vehicle we've driven. Lizette Anderson, Customer Service Rep, was most helpful in directions to a restaurant. She also provided us with bottled water and candy. Although the fuel is a little pricey, it is more than made up by good service! Lorne & Peggy Harmon

This IS the most impressive FBO ever. (The new ramp is finished now.) Everyone, from the ramp to the office goes out of their way to be helpful. Two weeks before our arrival, they found a deli in town willing to cater a small family re-union. Thanks.

Had an unexpectedly overnight due to weather. They did a great job (with no notice) to take care of the aircraft and hotel. FBO is first-class all the way. Very professional.

In and out today with our Turbo Commander N900NE and had, as always, best of everything. Thanks folks. Well done. Be sure and get the toffee candy, made locally. Can be had in 1 and 2 pound boxes. BEST OF.

Considering they are the only FBO on the field, they don't have to be this nice. Once again, West Star exceeds expectations. I flew in Xmas Eve (Thursday night) in a Mooney with a failed alternator. I spoke with their mechanic that night and made plans to have him take a look first thing Saturday morning (mechanics on Saturday? Yes!). Their fuel prices are within pennies of the self-serve pump and they treat you like royalty, discount the parking and send you on your way with the locally produced chocolate confection and a steaming latte. Why go anywhere else? These are really great folks.

Still great fast service. Stopped in to topoff and get some espresso. Was offered the use of the crew car when I asked about local eateries.

We were in Steamboat Springs with our B-25 "Pacific Prowler" when the landing gear decided it needed a minor rigging adjustment. West Star was the closest facility with jacks big enough to lift the plane. It was Labor Day weekend, and the shop was closed, but they opened it up just for us, and gave us all the support we needed. We were in and out of there in a couple of hours. Thank you for going the extra mile for us.

If you use the self serve BP will not let you on their property and you must not have an opinion about it or they will call airport security. Won't be back.

Stopped briefly for fuel, quick and efficient service. What impressed me most is that they gave me a box of toffee presumably for getting fuel there. The toffee was excellent and came in handy on my 4.5 hr flight back to CA.

West Star may be the most impressive FBO this pilot has ever had the privilege to visit. Bought a little gas (RV6) and parked on their ramp for 3 nights no tie-down fee. Starting on Aug 1, the TSA has forced them to escort pilots and passengers on the ramp; they were fast, courteous, and apologetic.

One of the finest FBO's in terms of friendliness, service and amenities that you'll find anywhere. I keep coming back for the comfortable living-room-style lobby with overstuffed sofas, fabulous gourmet espresso machine, flat screen TV's, pilot's planning lounge, and not to mention a fabulous unexpected gift made by a local chocolate seller in town. Fuel prices have varied here, so I gladly buy their brand on cheaper days, or opt for self-serve when the FBO is running higher. You get Big City Service here with none of the attitude, whether you're a Citation or a Cessna single.

AGAIN AND AGAIN WEST STAR AVIATION AMAZES MY PASSENGERS AND ME. Even though they are the only ones on the field, these guys are sincerely amazing. Great Service, amazing facility, the Toffee tops it off. I wish these guys could expand and come to Salt Lake and Southern…

The people at West Star picked me up from the airline terminal to retrieve a Learjet that was getting out of maintenance. Very courteous and very professional. Comfortable lounge and lobby.
