Stopped here for our second visit. Nice folks, nice airport, and a wonderful restaurant on the field. Even the locals come over for Sunday dinner! They should all be like this airport. Admittedly, self-serve fuel at self-prices would be a plus. Maybe someday

Goodland is a great place to stop for fuel. The folks there do a great job. We were met right away and fueled, no questions asked. The only down side to GLD is they do not have self-serve fuel for after hours. We ended up continuing on to KOEL for fuel. Runways in good condition and taxiways are decent.

On July 9 2007 we were flying from Ft. Collins/Loveland to Dayton Ohio. Over Kansas we experienced a failing alternator in our Piper Archer and landed at KGLD. The mechanics at Butterfly Aviation (Grandpa and Randy) immediately assisted us by testing our alternator and determining the problem. They drove to the town, picked up our necessary parts and made the repairs at a very nominal charge and we were on our way again in a short time. Their time, experience and hospitality was greatly appreciated in our time of need Thanks again guys!!

Great friendly and helpful folks and fully equipped pilot lounge. Quick service - but plan your stop to include a country breakfast in the terminal building cafe!

Stopped at Goodland to take a break and top off the tanks. The place seems surreal to me. It is strangely extremely clean and you are the center of attention. Great place to stop by and the "Nectar Kit" (bag-oh-candy) for each occupant of the aircraft are great!

We called ahead to say we would be landing around eight in the evening to gas and go. When we arrived they were waiting for us and quickly had us refueled. When we decided to stay the night they gave us a free rental car and offered to hangar our Bonanza ($25). Great service and attitude!

Friendly, family run FBO with great service. Free courtesy car. Overnight hangar was $20. Highly recommended.

We stopped in Goodland yesterday. We were met at plane-side by a very friendly line/FBO counter man who asked if he could help? We didn't need fuel, just wanted to visit Goodland. He offered us the courtesy car, the keys for which were ALREADY IN HIS HAND! When we asked whether the protocol was to put gas in the car or tip the line man, he said that neither was necessary. Wow!! We drove into town to "check it out" and then returned the courtesy car to the nice FBO man. Of course, there were some dollar bills stuck to the car keys when we gave them back. We will stop here again to visit these super-nice people.

Simply a clean, friendly place to re-fuel, stretch your legs, prepare for the next leg of your flight-- great hospitality!

Nice, friendly airport with good restaurant and excellent maintenance staff. GA needs more airports like this.

I made an unplanned stop here, and they were great. Found me a good hotel room, gave me the keys to a courtesy car without my even asking, took good care of my airplane. Little packet of candy is a nice touch.
