Fuel is expensive, but that's not entirely Columbia's fault. Staff continues to be very friendly. Facilities are in good shape.

We made an unexpected stop at Groton on 7/21 (and 7/22) due to weather at Block Island and were planning on leaving the aircraft overnight and taking the ferry to Block. After calling Lanmar who said their overnight cost was $50/hr. After 9pm for our small Cessna 172, I called Columbia where $8 was the only cost, even for towing the plane from transient GA parking across the field to their FBO. The really cute girls at the front desk were very helpful in making arrangements to get us to the ferry, etc. We ended up returning later in the afternoon to fly to Block Island after the weather cleared up, and upon returning to the FBO, was insisted to take the $8 overnight fee back. (Talk about high quality customer service!) The facility was gorgeous and the service was fantastic. This is easily the best FBO I have ever visited. It could even be worth making a trip to Groton to see how this FBO got it right.

Really nice FBO w/ nice folks! Bought some gas, and the lineman got my special fueling instructions dead-on. Thanks!

We used Columbia June 1-3 for a trip to Mystic. We were met by a lineman for parking and quickly and carefully fueled as requested. We were offered assistance unloading and tieing down. Our Sporty's Tiedown Straps were not long enough to reach the tiedown locations on the ramp so keep this in mind if staying here. Columbia quickly provided us with longer straps. Upon returning to Columbia on the 3rd, earlier than planned due to weather at our destination, Columbia's people quickly retrieved our bird from the parking area and parked it in front of the FBO. Fuel was not cheap and parking was $8.00 a night but we feel we received what we paid for, EXCELLENT service from every member of the staff we came into contact with! We will certainly use Columbia again. Nice Job!

We stopped on Sunday night looking for fuel and food. We felt welcomed the minute we walked in. Although they where closing soon, Laura at the front, graciously let us use the crew car to grab a bite, while our plane got fueled. We where treated with freshly brewed coffee and complimentary soda. The staff, including the line crew where all very polite and professional. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic FBO! Came in the other day while I waited for some passengers and in the pilots lounge there were two private crew rooms that allowed me to take a refreshing nap. Everything you could want from an FBO and more. The facility is gorgeous and the receptionists are just the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Will be back many more times.

We flew into GON on 1/11/07 for an overnight trip to Foxwoods. The staff and services at Columbia could not have been better. They took care of my 172 and in the morning it was heated and ready to go. Call ahead for a rental car if going to the casinos, cheaper then taxi. Overall great service and great facilities.

Very nice FBO!! Friendly and courteous staff!! Will definitely use them in the future! All my questions were answered promptly and the answers that were not known were found expeditiously! Greatest service I have ever experienced!!

What a terrific crew and staff! First Class service all the way. My wife and I flew in to meet another couple to drive up to a Casino for a day of fun. We were both amazed with the facilities and the people. Even though the tables didn't treat us so well, we'll be back and we'll definitely be using Columbia Air Service.

Flew into KGON and stopped at Columbia Air Service for quick service. The reception could not have been nicer and the service very fast. I'm definitely coming back to Columbia on my next trip to this area.
