The SS pump works fine and is just to the north of the terminal building. I can't see any signs that they have started work on the new terminal building. The restaurant is still closed and probably won't reopen until the new terminal is finished if ever. Due north of the airport off Pioneer Pkwy there is a big oriental shopping mall that has an excellent restaurant inside called Bistro. It's worth the walk.
Response from Jan Hill, City of Grand Prairie The old terminal is gone. Construction on the new terminal should begin in mid- to late summer. The self-service fuel pumps will remain in service during the construction. Questions? Call the airport office at 972-237-7591 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mon-Fri

Self-serve pumps are working great now. All the bugs seem to be worked out. A new terminal bldg is in the works, so hopefully more amenities will be available in the near future.
