Airways is a first class operation. Rented a 172 to take some family members for their first ride in a small airplane. The aircraft was clean and well maintained. The instructor was very professional and personable as was the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this FBO to other pilots. Thanks Airways!

Unfortunately the cafe that used to be on the airport is now closed. Fortunately there are a lot of other options: the FBO offers a crew car; two restaurants offer shuttle services; there is taxi service, and there are several places (KFC, McD, Ground Round) about a six-block walk from the FBO. The Super 8 and AmericInn are only four blocks - straight west from the airport entrance. The FBO does not staff the desk but has signs up for how to page someone if you need help. Pilot lounge is basic but very serviceable, and they have wireless Internet.

Friendly helpful staff at GPZ and full maintenance available. There is also a very nice little cafe on the field for lunch. Worth a stop.

In Grand Rapids for a weeklong vacation. Staff at AirWays was very helpful and friendly. $5.00/night tie-down fee. Courtesy car available, although we didn't need it.

Flew there on a long cross-country with a commercial student on a frigid 10-degree day. Lineman was on his way out to refuel us even before our prop wound down, and offered up cheerful service with a smile. (Did he even FEEL the cold?!) I've used this FBO a couple of times in the past several years and have always received friendly service, and once the use of a cruise car. Stop in and let them take care of you.
