9/25/2010 Flew in on Sat. Morning to eat at the Dutch restaurant and see the aviation museum. Nice FBO, Jerry was very nice and gave us a ride to the restaurant. He is a very pleasant and accommodating person. Besides Jerry at the FBO, the tower personnel were friendly. Thank you Grissom Field.

GA is welcome at this airport!! The litany of US Air Force info about the field is confusing but there is a very good FBO for GA here. I flew my Mooney here. ENORMOUS runway, easy-going ATC and comfortable FBO services. FBO manager eager to please. Two large hangars at FBO and easy to use SS pump. Highly recommended.

Great place to come! Check out the Museum, play a round of golf, or just come in for breakfast or lunch at the Dutch Cafe. Saturday morning it is THE PLACE for the breakfast buffet! It’s a half-mile walk, or the FBO will run you over there. Great folks.
