We arrived today at GUS and were met by Jerry. Walked about 1 mile to air museum and then had lunch at Dutch Cafe. Their phone # is: 765-689-0028. Their hours vary from day to day and are closed on Sunday. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Museum is well run. Montgomery Aviation moved my Sport Cub indoors when a Huey Helicopter came to buy fuel. I really appreciate their service and will go back.

Stopped at KGUS on our way from Oshkosh to Baltimore. Jerry at Montgomery Aviation took great care of us. The brand new FBO is spacious, neat and has all the facilities one can ask for. It's a two-floor arrangement with a nice view of the gargantuan runway (this is a former SAC base with 12,500 foot runway). Jerry drove us to a nearby restaurant, the Dutch Cafe, which serves absolutely delicious food and is run by an aviation enthusiast. Meanwhile, Jerry was kind enough to put our C182 in a hangar to keep it cool. Such treatment is rare indeed. Will definitely stop by again, making sure there's enough time to visit the Grissom Air Museum and maybe play some golf at the Leaning Tree Golf Course (both within walking distance from the FBO). A highly recommendable place!
