With their famous, cordial "attended" self service that exceeds "full" service at many other airports, flying into Asheboro is always a great experience. Genuinely friendly folks (Bobbi and Ben are great examples!), always clean & comfy facilities as well as dependable/appropriate use of Unicom make it well worth a stop. An extremely well run airport and the wonderful NC Aviation Museum and related fly-in activities during the year combine to make it a fun destination, too!

Flew into Asheboro to get a stamp for Operation Fly NC and found the terminal staff both helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the North Carolina Aviation Museum located on the airfield - great WWI & WWII displays and aircraft. Great little field!
