Stopped in on a Friday afternoon about 2:00 PM... Didn't see a sole... But facilities were fine...Self-serve gas was easy and cheap...

Not attended on the Sunday (6/5/2011) that I stopped through. Very clean and neat facility. My Phillips 66 Aviation Credit Card did not work at the pump but my Master Card did. Not sure they are a Phillips dealer anymore. Runway 17/35 in good shape and it appears that runway 3/21 has new asphalt and markings. We did not attempt to use runway 3/21 based on the AirNav comments on the runway.

Stopped on 5/21 for fuel and to grab a bite to eat. Airport manager was friendly and helpful, and the fuel price great. Will be back if my travels take me anywhere near Hobart again.

Small town hospitality really shows here. The manager, Kevin, is a really great guy who takes his job seriously and goes out of his way to take care of pilots. I was grounded for 2 days due to weather and was given the crew car to use the whole time I was there. I was also given recommendations for hotels, restaurants, places to visit, etc. The entire area has low fuel prices and these were right in the middle of the price range. This stop is now #1 on my list of places to stop for fuel on C/C flights.

VERY VERY nice place. The manager Kevin is a real gentleman. We arrived at 10pm, called him and he came over instantly and tried his best to get us a place to stay, to no avail. He let us spend the night in the FBO! Even went back and got us a few DVDs to watch. Thank you very much my friend. Fuel prices were as advertised on AirNav, the cheapest in the states! Very cosy place to relax and unwind after 6 hours of flying. Will definitely be back.

Great fuel stop, cheapest 100LL anywhere at $3/gal. Runway, taxiway, and ramp in great shape. Terminal building nice too.

Great fuel prices! Runway 17/35 is resurfaced. Others have cracks and grass showing. I tried three different credit cards and always got the message "Unable to verify." Airport manager was there and his card worked okay. I paid cash and was on my way.

We flew in for a quick pit stop. It is easy in and out and easy to fuel with the most inexpensive gas in 300 miles.

I agree with comments below. What a great airport. Greeted by new airport manager and a particularly helpful local pilot. Crosswind runways apparently are scheduled for resurfacing over the coming few years. Crew car available as well as overnight hangar. Call ahead to confirm availability. CHEAP fuel and great local hospitality. A winner!

This little airport is great. I've never seen a human being out there but the fuel prices are outstanding and the facilities are wonderful. Free High Speed WiFi, clean restrooms and snacks and water provided by the local Lions Club.

Stopped at Hobart last week and was greeted by the airport manager. Helpful, friendly, courteous assistance was provided. Best service I've ever had, anywhere. (Excellent airport, but what a shame the old crosswind runways are being allowed to deteriorate!) Will definitely stop here often.
