I want to commend the guys at HEG (Matt, Little Brian and Doug). They went above and beyond to help both my passengers and me, they stayed late and provided the start cart to get me on my way on the 11th of April. I highly recommend this business and hope their employers appreciate the dedication of these men. Thanks again guys!!!

Great little airport and FBO! Friendly staff let us use a car twice in one day to get to the city. Nice self serve 100LL pump and large ramp area. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

Thru HEG on 2-16 and 2-21. Had slight mechanical problem late on the 16th and the airport staff loaned tools and stayed until I was on my way. Great service, easy access, reasonable prices. Will use in the future thru Jacksonville.

Flew into Herlong on 12-21-2010 in a Piper Cherokee Warrior to visit my grandparents who live about 12miles from the airport. Even though I did not need any fuel the linemen were AWESOME. They met me at the plane and asked me if they could help me in any way. I did need to use the crew car and they set me up right away. After signing the paperwork I was on my way. This is a busy little airport but they have not forgotten how to serve the customers and how important they are to business. I will be back in the near future to make a skydive at SkyDive Jacksonville. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!

Nice airport and people. Matt was the all around guy when we got there on Saturday, May 22th. He was ready for us having our Enterprise rental there ready to load up when we taxied up to the ramp. After loading, he took our plane to the tie down area and tied it down for us. The next day on leaving he towed to plane to the fuel pump for us. We appreciate all of Matt's help, very customer oriented. We also had a good experience with Enterprise car rental. Those are nice folks too. They had the car at the airport ready to pick up, very reasonable rate. The JAX approach Cecil Field controllers were also very helpful in helping fly around the restricted and controlled airspace. Do watch for gliders and parachutes as the airport has both operations on the field.

Landed at Herlong Friday evening 4/9 and the guys behind the desk couldn't be more helpful. Needed a current AFD and they were Johnny on the spot, escorted me over to the chart store and stayed until I completed the transaction, As well as Helping me navigate around Class C airspace. Came back Sunday to p/u a passenger and got the same great service. Will be back soon!!!

This is a great little airport/FBO if you're visiting the SW side of Jacksonville. Easy to get in or out of this airport, friendly, efficient people, great fuel prices and no tie down fees! You can't beat it.

One of the friendliest and most helpful FBO's I have been to. I flew in on 6/3 to conduct some quick business not far from the airport. Since the courtesy car was already out, one of the employees drove me to my destination and waited for me. Fuel is also cheapest in area.

A real pilot friendly FBO. I visited April 16th to April 20th 2009. The service was excellent and the fuel prices were the best I have seen in N Florida. I can't wait to return

Herlong is a great airport. When taxing in, just call them and they will bring the rental car out to you. They offered to help unload the bags, and tie-down the plane. All very welcomed when the family wants to get out and stretch their legs. I opt for the truck refueling and it works well. When departing, Phillip was aware about the local TFR that was about to go up around Cecil for the air show and helped clarify it for me. Meanwhile, Bryan was giving a tour of the airport to a local kindergarten class. This is a good operation!
