The staff at Atlantic was very helpful coordinating a 3-week stay. I was towed to a space and tied down minutes after arriving, they had a taxi ready for me, and they put my plane in their hangar on short notice with bad weather approaching. All the office staff and linemen were very prompt and helpful with great service.

I see that this place gets a bad rap. I approached this place with some skepticism after reading the past reviews. I have used Atlantic a few times and never really had any problems. Staff was very friendly and got fuel in a timely fashion.

I drove over to Atlantic today to find out about the ramp or service fee and was told that ALL singles would be charged $40 unless they took 15 or 20 gallons or a top off. I was told that a top off of 5 gallons would be enough to cancel the service fee. (I see below that for one pilot it was not). It was explained that this was a corporate policy at all ATLANTIC FBOs and not just HFD. In addition, there is a landing fee if you have a revenue flight. There was not one GA aircraft on the ramp when I visited. On the bright side, 100LL was $ 5.93 full serve. Call and check before going into KHFD.

Stopped yesterday on a Pilots and Paws flight.... Topped off my tanks, not a lot of gas, and when I looked at the receipt later was charged a $20 service fee.... For what, buying your gas and park on your empty ramp for 10 minutes. Never stopping there again.

Flew into KHFD from KGON to pickup a bag for one of our passengers. I RAN out of the plane while it was still running hope we could grab and go. BUT NO! Atlantic made us shutdown, and then charged us 40 USD just for picking up a bag. When I questioned why it was so expensive I was told, "You need to adjust your attitude, and every airport has a facility fee." I was not pleased with this response, as clearly every airport doesn't have a landing fee. Also, a previous trip with the same plane was only charged 20 USD to stay there all day. I don't understand the fee and I really don't appreciate the crappy attitude this lady had. I will now be flying into VIP and not dealing with Atlantic...

Outstanding service by Christina. Got passengers a rental car; got me a hotel room--all at the last minute after missing the approach at Bridgeport, CT. BEWARE: $50 to park on the ramp after being specifically told the night before it was $20 for a piston single. Christina and Adam (driver to hotel) were outstanding.

This is my home base airport and Atlantic's facilities and staff and good. My only gripe is with the computer in the pilot's lounge, what a P.O.S. Response from Joel Estelle, General Manager, Atlantic Aviation HFD We have updated the RAM memory on the computer and it is nice and fast now!! Should work much better! Let us know if it is not!

I like 'em (210 owner). I often camp in the pilot lounge when neighboring Exxel is working on my avionics, and I try to buy fuel each time. Very nice folks and, when I ask on occasion, the crew car is available.

Atlantic provides adequate service except for their policy and fees regarding transients. I own a C340. Been coming to HFD for years to visit the grandparents. When we come to HFD we take lunch in the restaurant and the ramp fee is waived. I buy fuel when I can to support local FBO's. Atlantic doesn't get it. Stopped in last week and told by a not so nice girl I must pay regardless of whether I used the restaurant. Funny never paid before. I was then told singles who use the restaurant don't have to pay. I asked where was this policy in writing. As you can guess it is not in writing. Atlantic's logic is wrong, they think because you own a twin you have more money than someone who owns a single so you should pay more. My 340 value 150k. A Cirrus averages 200k and up or for that matter a newer C182 or Piper Matrix. Beware the ramp fees! PS I use HFD alot so I rented a tie down for 55 bucks a month. Net result Atlantic lost a customer, no fees, no fuel sales. Not too smart business wise!

Atlantic Aviation was the receiving facility for a "Pilots N Paws" humanitarian flight. The staff at Atlantic couldn't have been more accommodating. Line staff personnel even assisted w/ the unloading of the (big and friendly) dog! Quick service given with a smile. Clean and well appointed facility. A good spot to land.

Great controllers from approach all the way to the tower (arrived late and my next flight plan was expiring, they offered to hold it open while I was refueling) very helpful thanks guys! Nice FBO but the staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. The top off was quick but trying to pay the bill took longer then the top off, and I was the only one in line. I would still go back and give another try everyone has a bad day.

I received outstanding service during a quick fuel stop and passenger discharge. Called on the Unicom, was parked by a waiting lineman, and immediately fueled. Thanks!
