In and out today with our Turbo Commander N900NE and had 'best of' everything. Thanks folks. Well done.

I'd like to second the comments that Global Aviation is very accommodating of smaller GA aircraft. As indicated below, these folks are very much a "heavy iron" FBO, but we've had nothing but positive experiences with them in a light twin. Our trips to Portland typically require evening (after hours) arrivals or departures and to the best of our knowledge, Global is the only FBO on the field that can easily accommodate a rental car pick-up or drop-off at those times. It's correct that they do not offer 100 LL, but they can coordinate it if needed. If our trips required fuel (or maintenance) there are probably better options on the field, but for easy rental car pick-up and return, flight planning, and a super helpful staff, these folks are great!

Had to fly in and out of Portland Hillsboro (HIO) today on business, and needed a crew car. The only FBO on the field that listed a crew car was Global Aviation, and because they only sold Jet A, I wondered if they would turn their nose up to a lowly Cherokee 235 pilot. A very friendly front desk girl promised us the crew car as long as I needed it, except overnight. Global's personnel treated us as if we arrived in one of the many Global Express or Gulfstreams on their ramp or in the hangar. Their main source of business is not single-engine piston customers (no 100LL is my first clue), and could have been snobbish but was instead professional, courteous and friendly. In fact, as we departed, the line guys were complimenting us on our 1964 Cherokee 235. I highly recommend this FBO, especially if you are a turbine driver, they will treat you fine. If I could give this FBO stars it would be five of them.
