I had to find a hangar at the last minute to keep my A36 out of the blizzard last weekend. The staff was exceptionally helpful during the whole stay, which lasted three days, not one. I have never met a friendlier group of people. Thank you!

Had a great experience with the maintenance department at Mid-Island. Ken Miller did a fantastic job fixing up my Sting Light Sport. Not only does he know what he is doing, he is also extremely friendly and loves to talk flying. Don't forget to ask him about his "secret" hamburger spot. Great food.

At no FBO in over 30 years of flying have I observed a greater level of enthusiasm towards customer support than at Mid Island. I found no limit to their willingness to resolve operational challenges, including after hours maintenance and servicing support. Thanx especially to Amanda and Mike.

I am close to my pvt check ride with Mid Island. The training has been a great experience. The CFI's range from the most recent collage grad's to seasoned gentlemen that share your passion for flight. HWV is a great place to learn. The lack of commercial traffic is a plus. My wife and kids will be training at Mid Island. Go Ryan!

I can't write enough good things about my experience with Mid-Island Air Service. My daughter (12 years old) just began flight instruction with Gary Spence - he was pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. My daughter raved about her first experience, and I felt totally comfortable -we both can't wait until the next lesson. Mid-Island is clearly an excellent firm with exceptional people.

Overnighted at HWV last week. The folks at Mid-Island were friendly and efficient. Paid $5 for overnight fee and topped off with their reasonably priced 100LL. HWV looks like a busy and thriving GA airport.

Mid-Island was closed at 5:30PM on a Saturday, so had to go to Brookfield for (self-serve) fuel. Note that landing fee has gone up in the last year, now $5 for single and $10 overnight. No biggie, just FYI. No other services for the fee (no marshalling, help with tie-down, etc.) HWV can be busy on nice weekends so use the CTAF and keep your head on a swivel.
