I've stopped here twice in the last couple months. Purchased top-offs each time. Speedy, friendly service and adequate facility with computer for flight planning, charts, etc.

Due to 35K headwinds over the past 4 hrs, we had to make unscheduled stop at KHYS. It was all good. Courtesy car etc, friendly line people, FS fuel. But man oh man the price is almost 2 a gallon cheaper SS not far away, I felt pretty ripped when I learned that. But other than fuel price it was fine.

Excellent line service, very clean FBO/terminal, up-to-date computer for flight planning. FBO has a walk through to the main terminal and rental cars. I had requested to be hangared if thunderstorms threatened and was put in a hangar for overnight on 2 nights and then returned to the tie downs. I'll stop again when in the area, excellent facility and friendly professional staff.

Stopped in Sunday July 5 at 10:30 am. Nobody around. The web site indicates hours are 6-10. There was a number to call for fuel but that results in a $20 surcharge. No access to the courtesy car since nobody was there. "Public" transportation is by request and couldn't pick us up for 2 hours! Eventually found a way to get the family something to eat. Went on to Salina for fuel. Found them open, friendly, cheaper fuel. I wouldn't recommend a stop at Hays without calling first.

Nice place service was very good. We got there & they where right there with the rental car. Fuel was a little high but I guess they are everywhere. Thanks guys for your great service.
