Emailed ahead to assure I could plug in my engine preheater for one evening. They wanted $5/hr for the plug with a $25 minimum. 1kwh only cost 30 at the most in that area. A $7/night tie down and overpriced gas should cover a little electricity. I will never overnight here if I have another option.

Friendly and mostly helpful staff. However, this FBO is outdated and needs some serious restoration/modernizaton. Pilot lounge leaves a lot to be desired including the sofa which I almost broke my back on when I leaned back to quickly because there is a 2x4 running up the back. No papers available for business aircraft.

Niagara Falls Aviation took care of every detail. They got us wonderful local transportation with Noor Ahmad of Aero Taxi & Limo Service (phone 716-990-2792) who was at our beck and call -- we could not ask for a nicer and more helpful driver. They got us a room at the Holiday Inn Express, across the street from the FBO with a beautiful CLEAN room at a reasonable rate. We also had a quick and satisfying meal at the Como Italian Restaurant, also across the street from the FBO.

Ended up at KIAG because of a weather diversion. But I won't complain. Friendly and helpful FBO. $3 landing fee for my Cessna 172. Can't complain about that. Sure was worth the view....

Had a good stop here for two nights. Staff was efficient and friendly. Not sure if it's normal, but they had great snacks in the pilot's lounge. I was aware of the landing/parking fees and was prepared for that ($3 landing + $14 for the 2 nights). I was also prepared for expensive fuel and refueled about 45 minutes away, saving a ton! FBO recommended the excellent cab driver Noor Ahmad - 716-990-2792. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in and see the good folks at KIAG, but I'd be prepared and get my fuel on the way!

Staff was friendly enough but we were charged an $83 ramp/landing fee (this is normal) but then were denied use of the crew car to get some lunch. We were informed that to use the crew car we would have to purchase fuel. When we asked how much fuel we had to purchase, we were told "some". Mind you this is after we already paid the $83 ramp/landing fee. The woman wouldn't tell us what the minimum fuel purchase was to make use of the crew car. It's a crew car, for flight crews, what's the point of having it if you won't let flight crews make use of it??? We had already planned to eat at a local restaurant but instead had to walk across a busy street to a place across from the FBO. The food at this restaurant was awful. Would not use this FBO again if given the choice but they are the only ones on the field.

I bought 83 gallons of Avgas and they wouldn't waive an extra day of tiedown. $7 a night for tiedown is drop in the bucket to keep business when your paying $527 on overpriced fuel that could have been purchased somewhere else and will be next time!

Sent an email the day before arriving at Niagara Falls Aviation telling them the day/time I would be there and what I would need - didn't get a response. When I arrived 6/4/11, Joel had a sign in sheet filled out with my info, so I guess they got the email. Line guys very helpful even though I didn't buy gas ($1.50 higher than my home field). I'd reserved a rental through Enterprise on line, but apparently Enterprise commonly fails to deliver cars to KIAG from KBUF. Joel re-rented me a recently dropped off Gran Marquis at the same rate I'd reserved so I was on my way without too much fuss. Next day, things were very smooth going out. They only charged me $10 to tie down over night - nothing else. Great service! I would have bought gas just to support the FBO if the price had been reasonable. Lesson learned: call ahead to verify everything, though in this case, now worries. I was able to take the rental into Canada with no problems, either.

Line Service is great very efficient people, and friendly too! Tower is very accommodating, and good for training flights. Beware of the landing fees and pricey gas and facility fees though, they'll hit you for whatever they can get. Decent facility, cheap rental cars to town. Restaurant "The Como" across the street.

Stopped here after Oshkosh on a little adventure eastbound. They helped parked me and showed me to the lobby. Nice place spendy gas, but what’s new! If you plan to go anywhere just get a rental car. To get to town it was $25.00 each way...I stayed at the Air Force Inn (military) and once you are there the only way to get food/go anywhere you need a taxi or car.... Don’t take a taxi its way to expensive I spent $110 to go from the FBO to hotel...Town and back...Get a car!

Great service with the line and counter guys the day I flew in. Helped with a hotel and rental car and had me fueled and tied down and on my way in no time. Only problem I had was with their paperwork. Landing fee is a minimum and not as posted and they got the rental car agreement times screwed up and I ended up getting charged for two days because they put down the wrong arrival time. I got it straightened out but the girl at NFA basically told me to take care of it.

Flew into IAG on a short business trip. Very efficient and friendly FBO. Enterprise had my car rental all ready to go and everyone made this a very pleasant first flight into this busy airport. When departing, IAG ATC were very helpful in briefing a short ride over head the Falls and Buffalo Approach were equally helpful in making this a very pleasant first flight into this area.

Great customer support here! The parking area is small and we couldn't taxi directly to a space but we were marshalled to a shutdown spot. The staff later parked, chocked, and tied down our Archer for us. Parking was $7/night with one night waived for fuel purchase. Landing fee for our plane was $3.

Small facility, but BIG HELPFUL SPIRIT! We stayed at Butler House B&B, walking distance to falls. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Taxi was $18 from airport. Disregard recommendations to stay on the gaudy Canadian side. Go over there just to see the view, but stay on the American side. MUCH nicer. (Avoids the carnival atmosphere of the other side.) Red Coach Inn - great food/atmosphere.

Fast, helpful service on the line - very friendly and offered advice (when asked) about places to go and things to see at Niagara Falls. Desk attendants equally as good and had a cab waiting for me by the time we finished the paperwork. $17 each way to town with Ahmad - recommend you get his cab if possible. All in all a great experience. We'll be back!

We were able to get a rental car through the local Hertz facility for $38 per day total. That is better than a cab and allows you to conveniently reach the hotels on the Canadian side.

Very nice folks, at Niagara Falls Aviation. Got there with a possible misfiring spark plug and they recommended a fellow by the name of Harold Hawley. By my engine monitor, I knew which cylinder to check, so I left the message for Mr. Hawley. A couple of hours later he calls me with a $240 bill!!! He later reduced it to $150 (check spark plugs of one cylinder, do a compression check on that cylinder (which I didn't ask for) and test run the engine.

We flew in here on Friday around 8 pm, the guys were still there, and arranged a taxi for us, the taxi showed up in 5 minutes and was very reasonable ($17 to the Falls). They waived the first night parking fee with fuel purchase. We flew in two people and met with friends so they joined us on Saturday. Four people got to the airport on Saturday, the fuel was already topped off, and there was no way to remove 10-15 gallons from my plane. It's not their fault and I wasn't angry about this. Nice service, professional staff, I recommend this airport! Thank you!

FBO is staffed by some very helpful people. It rained a LOT while we were there, and they provided us towels to help dry the interior of our aircraft. Tower controller very agreeable to allowing us an aerial tour of the falls. See Airport Facility Directory for altitude, comm. freq, etc. The Landing Fee is $3, and the Parking Fee is $7/nite. Budget rental car is right across the street, and because they are off-airport, there were no airport taxes. They were especially accommodating! Key drop box for after-hours drop-off.

Others have mentioned a $17 cab fare "to the falls". If you take the cab across the bridge to the Canadian side (e.G. I went to the Marriott) it is $38 going over and $45 returning to IAG. I had a good experience (helpful) at the FBO.

Landed on 5/2/09 to have a quick visit to the Falls and had a pleasant visit. It is a $17 cab ride each way to the falls. They were also very helpful in briefing us on the special procedures required for a sight seeing trip around the falls, and for our flight into Canada.
