Flew to Windham yesterday to visit Mansfield Hollow State Park. Transients can tie-down directly in front of the FBO (line personnel will chock the plane for you). About a mile from the airport off Route 6 is one of the entrances to the park.

Stopped in for a one-hour stop on a cross-country. The aero diner was great. Great stop and good service.

Flew in to eat at the Aero Diner today. The guys at Windham Aviation were very accommodating! Showed us the back-way/shortcut to the diner. When we came back the plane was fueled and ready to go.

Simply an awesome place to stop. The field/runways are in pretty good condition. Good amount of parking space for 1hr stoppers. Just as I'm getting out, a very nice ramp agent came up with some chalks, and told us where there was a little plaza to eat. A 2min. Walk brought us to a few choice places to eat. I went into this beautiful rebuilt aero diner that had great food (breakfast all day!), and reasonable prices. I will recommend anyone to fly into Windham, and I will be back!

Great Service! We arrived Saturday from Virginia and the engine heater plug in arrangements were in place and the rental car ready. I called John (line manager) the day before and he had everything in place as promised. Everyone on the line staff was friendly and helpful plus a reasonable price for fuel. While I was there I listened to one of the instructors help out a walk in customer who wanted to purchase some flight instruction for someone as a Christmas gift. The instructor was very helpful and treated this newcomer very professionally. These folks deserve your business.

Windham Aviation is a great bunch of folks who are trying very hard to make Windham a great place to land. Fuel prices are very competitive, the airport itself is an excellent place to land, and there are nearby places to eat and snack. Windham Airport is an uncongested, non-towered field, with excellent runways, that's a great stop for aerial sightseers, cross-country time building, etc... Stop by sometime!

This is a great bunch of people. Had to land due to weather on Sat. Night just before they were to close. It was parents weekend at the local college and there was not a room to be had. They stayed open till we found a B&B and then drove us there. Thanks guys for all the help

I flew in to Windham on Saturday June 30th 2007. Matt at the FBO let me park for the day and topped of the tanks. Matt was friendly and helpful. Nice airport with nice people.

Visited KIJD today. Although the price was $0.20 higher than listed on AirNav, the FBO honored the price and said he would have AirNav update their website. We were told about a renovated 50's style diner (Aero diner) nearby that was worth the short walk with great food, reasonable prices and friendly waitresses. Windham is also the home on Sensenich Propeller shop. We spent about 30 minutes talking to Will, who explained the overhaul process for props. Nice people, nice place to visit and we will return

We usually stay a week or more when we fly in to Windham. Fuel prices are average, but with a fill-up they have never charged us for tie-down. That's a deal!

Windham is still a great destination, with ample parking on the ramp and lots of food choices within walking distance. However, the FBO's fuel prices are now among the highest in the area, with KWST and KGON a full $1.03 less per gallon.
