Nice airport. Fuel guy was real nice, called us on the radio as we were taxiing in and directed us to the pumps. By the time we shut down, he was already there. Stopped inside to plan our next leg and were pleased to find plenty of room to spread out our maps and plates, as well as a computer to use for flight planning!

First stop on a 13 hour cross country and were treated very, very well. They hangared us for cheap and gave us the courtesy car (86 pimpin' caddy) for the night as well as a delicious pizza recommendation. Wish they were closer and I'd visit much more often.

Good airport if you're going to Springfield and don't want to land there. Nice long runways in excellent condition. Terminal has flight planning computer, printer available, clean restrooms and friendly staff. Enterprise will come out and pick you up if you need a rental car and you can leave the car at the airport when you leave. Short drive to town for food and motels.

Arrived 4-5-08, again greeted with prompt, friendly FBO staff. Fueled with 28.3 gal of 100LL at $4.11/gal. Free overnight tie-down. Best price I've seen lately. Excellent airport and FBO facilities.

Arrived from Huntsville, AL late in day. After landing 31 and taxi over to FBO, FBO attendant was on CTAF asking if I needed fuel. I did so pulled down by pumps and was promptly greeted by friendly FBO attendant. Bought 40 gallons of 100LL. Then attendant offered free tie down (no room in community hangar) overnight as I'm staying in Jacksonville a couple nights. Great service, good gas prices, friendly and courteous staff!

Flew into Jacksonville yesterday (07/11/2007) for a business meeting. Upon arriving, I was asked if I wanted fuel. I asked the price and the lineman said the price was "$3.81 right now but the price was going up to $4.37 this afternoon". He told me a new load of fuel was on its way. I filled up then (it was full serve) and as I was watching him fill the fuel tanker arrived. Apparently I beat the new price by 10 minutes! I really appreciated him telling me about the price increase. Airport is great, service is great and the courtesy car is.....Well, not great, but it did get me to and from my meeting with no trouble. I will definitely stop at IJX when in town for another meeting.
