Aero Services is a beacon of light at an airport that is unfriendly to general aviation. Aero understands that if you are coming in a single engine Cessna, and not using any "free" services - and only "borrowing" a 15X15 piece of tarmac to park the plane - then there should not be a need to charge a relatively high parking fee - UNLIKE FBO Air Wilmington. Parking fees are $10 a max (Aero) - waived if you buy some fuel. Unfortunately, the airport authority that governs ILM, unlike that which governs Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport - does not make the FBO's at ILM charge reasonable prices to GA for fuel. As a result, fuel is always inflated at ILM about 50% over and above what other area fields charge. i.e. EQY $4.85 - ILM either FBO - $6.45 plus. But Aero Services will likely be much more accommodating to you, GA pilot, than Air Wilmington. Just don't take advantage of the courtesy car and other "free" services unless you happen to buy some stuff from them.

Great FBO with friendly and efficient staff. Parking fee waived with fuel purchase. This will be my stop when in Wilmington.

I have been flying in and out of ILM for years. I've always gone to Aero Service North. Employees are friendly and they have fair prices on fuel and ramp fees.

First things first: don't be fooled by the appearance of the building. I started out thinking I was in for more than I bargained for when I showed up for a checkout in one of Aero Service's 172's. Turns out the inside is well appointed with comfortable furniture and computerized weather. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful! The aircraft was out of date, but very well cared for and flew perfectly. My check-pilot was friendly and pointed out some of the local sites. What can I say; in-laws are easily impressed with aerial tours:) I'll be back to Aero during next year's vacation for sure.

Nice FBO. I stayed a week and was charged only for fuel. Staff seems to be mostly college kids, but friendly and helpful.

Visited in April 2006. Aero Service is a fine FBO, but my complaint is with Enterprise Rental Car there. Use of a Dodge Durango from 9am to 5:30pm resulted in a charge of $101.45. I believe this was excessive and would warn you to check out other vehicle providers.

We came back in early January from the Bahamas and could not have been more impressed. Between the incredibly friendly and quick service from Aero Service North, and the Customs experience which in comparison, makes Fort Pierce look like a Gulag. We will make this our stop from now on.

Class act FBO. Friendly staff, rental aircraft are in great shape, and have had little issues with any services. Highly recommended.
