The folks at Gateway provided excellent service. I need to give a special thanks to Jack and company at Arizona Aviation LLC. Due to the lack of maintenance service at KIWA, Jack and his crew promptly came over from another airfield to service my Mooney for a small charge. I will seek them out again in the future.

Very friendly staff. Helped us out getting overnight accommodations. Nice FBO and airport too.

From Vince Palte on 13-Jul-2009
I flew in yesterday to Gateway Aviation for the first time. What can I say? Mike, Pearl, Lisa, Dave and all of the other staff were VERY kind and professional. They arranged for my Hotel and rental car like I was family. I look forward to coming back real soon. God Bless Y'all!

Everyone was more than helpful. Especially Kat who helped us with our difficulties with Enterprise to get our car, and the line men helping with getting the plane into and out of the hangar. They even waived one nights hangar fees for purchasing more than 20 gallons of fuel. They helped with the weather computer when it wasn't working and got it up and running again. We were offered four bottles of water when we entered the FBO and then offered two bottles of water when we left. If there were any short comings in the begining they sure made up for it before we left. Everyone was great! Thank you! We will be back! Also, we stayed at the Best Western Legacy Inn on South Power Rd.. This hotel is less than five minutes from the airport, has only been open for a couple of months, is so much better than your usual Best Western. The quality is equal to what you would expect of a Marriott or Hilton. The staff there is great as is Lance, the hotel manager.

I have visited Gateway Aviation about 5 times in the last year. Very nice facility, customer friendly and inviting and persons at counter were especially personable. This last trip (03/08/09) Mike Szyndler was very helpful. I needed transportation and had called rental services with no success. He made a call for me and a car arrived from Enterprise with in 5 minutes. He was very courteous and helpful in explaining other concerns I had.

From Duane Muckey on 03-Mar-2009
I was staying at a local hotel a few weeks ago and was suppose to meet one of our planes at Gateway Aviation Services. I found out that day that the hotel did not have a way of getting me to the airport at the time I needed to go. I called the FBO and got in touch with Mike Szyndler, he informed me that he would pick me up and drive me to airport. So that evening sure enough Mike was there in his own car to pick me up. I found out talking to him that he was actually on his time off doing this for me. I could not thank him enough for going out of his way for this service. Mike and the entire crew at Gateway Aviation Services treated myself and our entire crew the same way. Thank you all again, we will be back. Capt. Duane Muckey (Ryan Int'l Airlines- B-767)

Mike and Pearl and the rest of the crew are fantastic! From fueling to securing last minute hotel rooms for six they took care of us quickly and with great courtesy.

From Ken Reed on 19-Dec-2008
I've stopped here many times in the last few years and always have received excellent service. Today I had a quick meeting and was given the crew car. It was fairly new and quite nice. Excellent service again today, as usual.

From Riley Hagan on 04-Dec-2008
I visit dozens of airports every year, and Gateway consistently provides excellent service. Mike and Pearl were working the desk on my last visit in our MU2, and were very helpful with a number of special requests. Most pilots don't need/want a bunch of frills, just responsive, friendly service and fair pricing. Gateway gets this.

From Joshua VerHalen on 08-Oct-2008
Outstanding service and friendly staff make this the airport of choice in the Phoenix area. Crew car available (only 9000 miles on it), comfortable pilots lounge and generally clean facilities. Could use a "follow me" truck as parking is a little unclear initially (parked in the "millitary row"), but line service met me at the airplane, tied down and drove us to FBO. No ramp fees if just stopping in for a few hours (even when you borrow crew car). An excellent stop if you don't need to be in the heart of Phoenix.

Flew in Jul 3 08 Once again great service. Lineman offered line car before we even told him we would buy gas!! Picked up 13.5 Gal 100 LL took crew car to get something to eat as restaurant was closed at 2pm on field. Great service from all the help. Best FBO I have been to and believe me have been to my share of them!!

From John Porter on 24-Jun-2008
Very nice FBO service. Recommended and set up lodging. Very friendly staff. Fun to run into Willy again.

From Peter Sterling on 03-Feb-2008
Great service. The best FBO I've dealt with. Came in right before the Super Bowl crush. Parked my 172 in front and took care of everything. The Enterprise desk had my car and I was off. I had to leave at 10:30 pm and it was very convenient that they had someone there (they are open 24 hours I think). Thanks and keep up the good work. I'll be back.

From Art Goold on 28-Oct-2007
Stopped in on a Sunday with my son to buy fuel and have breakfast but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. I walked over to look at another aircraft and a uniformed attendant ran up behind me and asked me if we had badges. I said no but we had just flown in. He said it did not matter, this is a "secure airport" and we were only authorized to walk from our airplane to the FBO. We walked back to our plane and left.

Jan 21. NBAA trip. Enterprise had car at the ready and the CSR was friendly. Parking was waived. Overall a good stop.

From Rick Gooch on 31-Dec-2006
Great service. Enterprise Rental Car desk on site. Very helpful with everything we needed. The line guys even loaded our bags into the rental car.

From John Hughes on 26-Dec-2006
Very good service topped off my RV-6 with 26 gallons of 100LL and one of my two-night $7.50 ramp tie down fee was waved. Also said they could hangar my RV for $29.00 a night. Enterprise has a rental counter on site. I'll use them again. Main selling point being the service and ease of getting a car onsite.

From Kyle Preston on 30-Nov-2006
Impeccable service, I got weathered in and came here, these guys are friendly and accommodating, was ask at least ten times if I would need anything, hotel, crew car fuel, and for the area the fuel price isn't bad... Awesome all around! Highly recommend this place
