Facilities are everything mentioned in previous posts. $0.40 sodas in the machine, $0.50 on-your-honor munchies and ice cream bars, and free ice pops in the freezer. This place is indeed a treat to bring the kids to as a stop while flight seeing!

Just as other pilots have reported, Wabash is a really pleasant field. Mitch, who helped us refuel, was extremely friendly and offered the use of a car for a trip into town. Clean office with Internet available. And yes, free cookies.

Stopped into Wabash Municipal Airport on 10 Aug 07. Very nice airport and FBO. Landed to let my wife and kids stretch and go to the restroom. Gentleman working at the FBO offered my kids some Pop-Tarts to munch on for the remainder of the trip. Also there was a small play area outside for the kids to "burn off" some of their energy before we took off again. Very clean facilities and easy access in and out of the airport. We will be back again.

No one home when I stopped for fuel but the back door to the restrooms was open and getting fuel was easy with a credit card. Ultralights use 18/36 and is a bit narrow for production aircraft. 9/27 has more than enough room for general aviation aircraft. I must admit that it is one of the prettiest airports I've seen.
