Gas stop coming back from OSH on a Sunday. Airport closed and no one about, but the self-serve pumps worked and the foliage got a little extra watering. Lots of high terrain around, but the valley runs NE to SW and is plenty wide enough for VFR 180s.

We flew into KJAU from TN44 (Deerfield) for some gas on Sunday evening over Memorial Day. The runway looks brand new. Everything was locked up tight but the self-service gas worked like a charm. I'm sure we will be back a couple of times this summer for gas as we fly down to Norris Lake.
