Stopped on Saturday at noon. Clean building and inexpensive fuel. Most of the tie down areas do not have ropes. Was unable to find chocks at the self serve fuel area (or anywhere else). If you "ring the bell" as instructed by the indoor printed instructions, an employee wearing the FBO logo shirt will appear from an unseen remote room and politely tell you to use 4x4 blocks of wood (if you can find them). He will then silently retreat into a room labeled "Authorized Personnel" so the building can resume its abandoned appearance. There is no vending machine. There is a small offering of crackers if you have correct change. The popcorn maker looks brand new (because it sure as heck is not being used). No ground or remote frequencies for flight service or clearance. No crew car, even if you are purchasing 80 gal or more (and I did). No civilization in walking distance. Would be a good venue to film a Twilight Zone episode, as no one will hear you scream.

Made a fuel & lunch stop at JES on 7/27 & again on 8/3. Nice facilities and the lady in the terminal bldg was very friendly and helpful.

We have family in Jesup, so we fly there frequently. Last weekend we tied our plane down for the night the later learned of severe weather coming in. I made a call to Mitch Sutton to see if there was room in a hangar for my Columbia 400. He explained that he already had 7 planes packed into his hangar, but that he would see what he could do. Later he called me back to tell me he had been able to rearrange all the planes and had already put mine in the hangar. He did all this after hours and expected no compensation. I don't know of another FBO anywhere that would even consider going to this much trouble. This is a great airport managed by a man with a true servants heart.

I frequently fly into Jesup. This airport has everything you need - a great runway, a modern FBO building with a computer, GPS approaches to 11 and 29, two nice rooms to sleep in if stranded, rental cars as low as $25 delivered to the airport, and most importantly very cheap fuel!!! There is also good maintenance available for your plane. If you are passing in the area, I highly recommend this airport as a planned fuel stop.

Jesup was a fuel stop between Miami and Asheville NC going north and south. Coming back we were able to check on the status of a line of strong thunderstorms along the Florida-Georgia border. Jesup has everything you need from Ground Communication Outlet for clearance delivery, computers and printer that work, Direct TV in a nice lounge, nap rooms, nearby restaurants that deliver (good pizza). Spent a very pleasant 4 hours here with two other aircraft waiting out the summer weather. AWOS-3 is on 118.125 MHz. Fuel prices are great. A&P available during the week. If you are looking for a good fuel stop in NE Georgia this is the place. Only request...A few more tiedown anchors for riding out the thunderstorms.

One of my favorite fuel stops. It was deserted, but always clean and nice.

A nice fuel stop. It would be nice if AWOS were available on VHF - no ADF in my plane.

Great Airport and friendly staff. Clean and neat facility. Good price on Avgas. Real hometown folks and wonderful, long runway at uncontrolled field. Will definitely stop here on next trip thru area!

ATC says 126.75 should work on the ground for getting an IFR clearance. Otherwise, phone for JAX is 904-549-1546. Great fuel stop.
