What was planned to be a quick stop for fuel and to pick up a passenger turned out to be a weekend stay due to nasty weather at my final destination. Fortunately my experience here at JNX could not have been any better. And I can't say enough nice things about Hunter who was manning the front desk this weekend. Not only did he take care of our plane, but also when he noticed that the passenger I was picking up needed some air in her tires, he offered to haul the air compressor out to her car to top them off for her. And when he finished, he wouldn't even let me tip him. "Just doing my job, I'm already getting paid,” he said. Talk about service!!! Every airport could use a few guys like Hunter on the team. If you're just looking for the no frills basics, JNX's long runway with an ILS, Internet / weather room, CHEAP fuel, and friendly folks make for a fantastic stop. I will definitely be back when visiting the area or as a fuel stop when passing through. I can't recommend this place enough!

I had an unplanned stop at JNX due to an electrical problem. The folks were all very friendly and helpful, and the fuel was the lowest cost I've seen in a long time. A couple of the staff even took me with them to lunch. Very nice airport and very nice people.

My wife and I stopped here to wait out some weather and ended up being here for a half a day. The folks at Smithfield were great, a top notch place!

We landed our PA32-300 here for fuel, to pick up rental car and to stay. So glad we did. It's the great people that make Johnston County Airport such a real treat. The runway, facilities and fuel prices are all very good, but it's the friendly, helpful people that are so outstanding. Thanks and hope to see you again.

Consistent. Always the best fuel prices, and friendly service. Full service FBO. Only internal food is Vend-o-rama, but their courtesy car will take you to the sub shop in town. Quick turn around. My preferred stop from NJ to Winter Haven Florida. No need to stop anywhere else.

Flew in here for the day to volunteer for the EAA Young Eagles day and open house. Couldn't have been treated better by the FBO and the folks running the open house. Thanks for letting me be a part of the great day and supporting EAA and the Young Eagles!

We only saw one person at the airport on our recent visit but the service was exceptional. We arrived about 1:30 in the morning only to find our rental car keys were in the office. We called and woke someone up on the call out list and he came out quickly and got us on our way. The next day our plane was gassed and serviced while we were at the racetrack. When we came back it was midnight two days later and our plane had been removed from the hangar and put back on the ramp ready for us to leave. The folks at the airport called us at the track to make sure everything was OK. GREAT SERVICE

Paul, the attendant was as nice as could be during our brief fuel stop there last night. They are only open until 7 PM, but fuel is cheap and the runway is long (5,500') and service is friendly and fast.
