I landed in Concord on October 19, 2011 as well. The weather was horrible on that day as the previous post stated. The winds were gusty and had caused multiple problems around the airport for the airport staff to deal with. For example a helicopter had been overturned and multiple airplanes that were placed on the tiedown needed to be moved to prevent any damage to them. Concord Regional Airport's staff acted quickly to these actions in my opinion and prevented a bad situation from being a tragic one. The staff made every effort to assist us with our arrival and departure with the means that they had available at the time. I would recommend JQF to everyone and feel like management and the staff has the desire to please all of their customers from a Piper to a Global Express.

I want to follow up with my comments of Oct 20. Two days after the incident, on departure, the manager approached me and acknowledged that there were no legitimate excuses and that they simply screwed up and have reviewed their procedures and have made appropriate changes. I admire when someone can acknowledge mistakes without making excuses. He seemed sincere and I am looking forward to returning on the next business trip to see the improvements in service lapses discussed.

We landed late afternoon and were the only one active on the FBO ramp. It was raining and winds were gusty (17-G30). I later heard building soffit talking. Yet no one helped with parking. We backed the aircraft into parking spot, tied it down and managed to put on cover in gusting winds and carried 6 work related pieces of luggage across ramp and line serviceman didn't even look up from his conversation. The receptionist was not any better. Even though the completed registration was in her possession she continually referred to us as "sweetheart". Some may find that to be southern charm. I view it as unprofessional. The problems seem more of missed "management opportunities" than individual occurrences. On a positive note, the terminal is top notch and the transportation was prompt.

Friendliest tower operators I've ever experienced...They turned the runway lights up to max to help us pick the airport out of the lights of the area.... Then dimmed them down to my preference on final. The line guys met us and were really helpful and friendly.... But the guy behind the desk was a bit disorganized. Grateful for the courtesy car so we could get to a hotel. Next morning, the paperwork on the plane was lost and the blond working the computer didn't really care. Finally a sweet lady came out and helped get us out and on our way. Facilities & Line guys = great.... But counter folks not at same level.

Arrived early on a Sunday morning for a Pilots N Paws rescue pick up. Was offered every courtesy and a welcoming smile, plus a little fuel discount for a humanitarian flight. Very friendly group that made this little adventure a little easier. Everyone came out to pet the dogs too! Nice group running a spotlessly clean facility.

Unusual to have our arriving Beech 33A waved off the main ramp at a GA airport to make room for an arriving Air Trans 737, but one of the local racing teams had their team charter headed for New Hampshire. The airport moved us about a hundred yards north and was kind enough to send a helpful guy and a shuttle bus to help with our baggage. A hundred or so folks leaving on the charter had the terminal pretty crowded, but we all moved through OK. Fuel and overnight costs $15 were a bit high, but one nights parking was waived with fuel purchase. Overnight charge was the same as Charlotte Douglas at Signature when I checked. Tower did a good job sorting out our outbound IFR clearance to Philly when our DUATS plan didn't make it.

I stopped in for lunch, was greeted at the plane, and given a crew car even though I only purchased 8 gallons of 100LL. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I even had my ATC instructions delivered to me in a song (yes, the controller was semi-singing his instructions over the radio). Overall, JQF was great.

Arrived on a slow Saturday afternoon in a Piper Arrow. Friendly line guy waved us in and topped us off as requested. Clean, modern FBO with nice facilities, friendly people, and a nice pilot shop. We will be back

My wife and I flew to Concord from Atlanta (LZU) in our C-182. We were meeting our daughter and son-in-law to spend the day at the outlets. We arrived early. The folks at the desk were great and gave us a crew car and directions for a good breakfast. The line crew was very friendly and service was quick. Excellent FBO. I would recommend it too anyone.

FBO is nice. AVIS is on the field, but when they are closed, use Enterprise. The FBO had given us Hertz phone number, but Hertz will not deliver to the airport unless you are a gold member.

Very good experience at Concord Regional. I flew in for three days of business in my experimental RV6. Tower provided good direction. Line crew, counter staff, and management treated me excellent. They moved my plane into hangar when hurricane Ida passed by. Excellent experience.

You will not find a more professional staff at any airport. I drove in to pickup a Cherokee and was treated like I was in a G5. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of. You will not be disappointed. This field is definitely on my "must stop" list when in the area.

I also had to wait over an hour for fuel and called repeatedly. Other than that Concord is a great airport.

I think this is a nice FBO if you are a repeat customer but I had to wait over an hour for fuel, and it probably would have been longer if I had not called repeatedly. Even the plane that arrived after me was fueled minutes after it hit the ramp. I know I am only a small plane that probably took 50 gallons of 100LL and not a G5 but it would be nice to be treated as a customer instead of a hassle.

My home airport where I keep my Cessna 182. Got my Rotary rating at Helivision. Great place to see all the NASCAR Drivers who are in and out of there every weekend. Staff is great as well...
