Absolute horrible service. Stopped by KJVL on our way back to Oklahoma to get a bite to eat at Kealy's. It was drizzling a little bit so I called the FBO to get some fuel. The woman on the phone seemed very pushy regarding their self serve option and seemed very reluctant to want to provide full service. I still requested fuel at the full service price. After finally finishing our meal we were still waiting for gas, I said screw it and fueled with self serve. I don't know what's happened to this place. The woman on the phone was extremely rude when I called her back. I will not be back.

Self serve fuel now available next to Kealy's Cafe.

We stopped in for our annual trip to Wisconsin on our way to Oshkosh. The FBO has great service with reasonable prices for fuel and hangar. Clean and comfortable flight planning lounge. We'll be back again soon.

Watch out for the $50 taxi scam. Since someone else reserved the courtesy car, the FBO called a taxi for us. This taxi service is a rogue who charged us $50 for an 8-mile ride, after driving us all over town. There was no meter in this taxi. The Baymont Inn was only $58 for 2 double beds and has shuttle service. Long story, but the girl answering the phone at the Baymont did not know they had a shuttle service. So we had to take the scary taxi ride. The next morning the Inn owner refunded us $25 for the taxi and promised to remedy the situation. Everyone was so nice except for the taxi driver.

Excellent service and fuel on 12.4.08 was $2.99 for 100LL. Clean, friendly, cozy pilot lounge and a couple hundred yards from a nice airport restaurant Kealy's (formerly CAVU). Highly recommend.

One of the best FBO's that I have ever seen. Call them from the restaurant and they will fuel the plane while you eat and then bring in the bill. Always friendly. As mentioned, $.10 a gallon discount on Sundays. Restaurant is excellent as well.

From Tim Timmerman on 19-Aug-2008
Had to land here on a Sunday night due to storms. After we landed there 2 others landed after us for the same reason. Although they were closed, we called the after hours number and they came out about 30 minutes later and set us all up with rooms and cars or rides. Great staff.

From Timothy Smith on 09-Aug-2008
Agreed- top notch. I frequent the diner at the terminal building and they deliver there for the same low cost as if I taxied up to their front door.

From Jim Rockwood on 08-Aug-2008
Stopped on the way back from Oshkosh on Aug 2nd. Had called the FBO ahead to get a phone number for a taxi service since we would be arriving after hours. Upon arrival the taxi service refused to come to the airport. (about 7 miles out of town) We were refered us to a second who would pick us up but was going to charge $55 one way. Called the after hours number at Jet Center and in a few minutes a friendly gentleman who had apparently only been home a few minutes returned to loan us the crew car. There was a $50 call out fee but it was the best alternative since we already had a hotel reservation. Jet Center came through and I understand the call-out fee but the city needs to assure there is better transportation available and I should have been told about the high taxi cost when I called. I would have gone somewhere else. Nice airport, good FBO and a good restaurant but not a place to be stranded.

Great customer service on our annual trip to Wisconsin for Oshkosh festivities. Avgas and hangar rental are reasonable as well.

I don't know how Steve and his dedicated crew do it, but this place is a real pilot's gem! I frequently fly my C414 between Boston and Nebraska, and I'm always looking for a good fuel stop mid-route . . . Cheap, full service gas, with late night hours preferred. Well, thanks to AirNav, I found the Janesville Jet Center, and I'm hooked! The crew will come out at any late night hour for a very modest fee, and that is far more than offset by the savings from their very low fuel prices. The crew car is also very nice. . Late model and immaculately clean. Let's all try to support this business. Aviation needs more FBO's like this one!

I will agree with all the comments...This is one GREAT FBO! Please pass the word about this location.. Word of mouth is sometimes the best. We all need to support Steve and his staff for the great service and low fuel prices!

This FBO is *awesome!* We had to divert to JVL due to thunderstorms at MSN on the way home from a trip. The tower said that all the FBO's were closed but directed us to the ramp at Janesville Jet Center where two other planes were also waiting out the weather. Despite being after hours, the couple that owns the FBO opened up the building (which may look old and ratty outside but is very nicely renovated inside) while we figured out how to proceed. They not only gave us a ride to the bus station, they took us to grab some food before the bus arrived. You can't beat this service! On top of that, they charge very reasonable prices for fuel (about 80 cents a gallon cheaper than other full-service FBO's in the area). I will definitely be back!

These guys are great! Fast & professional service. Good fuel prices that include free cookies (usually hot!). Within walking distance of two good restaurants.

From Dr. Randal Wojciehoski on 09-Jan-2008
A great FBO. Facility is nice with great staff. Very friendly. Steve King, the owner, went out on a limb and bought this business. He is offering tremendous service and needs continued support. Stop here when at JVL. I know that I will return there when I have business in JVL. The FBO has the amenities of one's found in the major metro areas without the added costs!

From Kevin Condroski on 02-Aug-2007
Friendly, helpful staff, and they hangared my airplane for a very reasonable price. Nice, new remodeled facility with a flight planning room and lounge. Highly recommended.
