Looking at other airports in the USA, many must now charge FEES to survive! So, the landing fee, handling fee and ramp/parking fee for a PC-12 is not without merit. Tis better than paying $10.00 per gallon for JET-A. I hope these airports/FBO's survive in today's economy? Signal did a great job for us during the short, overnight stay. Only wish the Boston ARTCC Controllers understood non-radar separation so we didn't have to wait 15 minutes on the ground for an arriving Navajo.

Very friendly staff! Nice facility. Just beware of fees. At first they thought I was a Pilatus PC12 and wanted to charge a $100 handling fee in lieu of 100 gallons, but they were willing to waive half of it I bought 50. When they realized I was a TBM700, the fee became $50 in lieu of 50 gallons. I could only hold 48, but they waived the handling fee anyway. I was charged an additional $25 landing fee. Prist additive cost an additional $0.09/gal.

My wife and I flew in on 2 September 2010 in our Cessna 182. After parking us the lineman brought our rental car to the plane. Ray Reed, the customer service representative for Signal Aviation, the only FBO on the field, spent 20 minutes giving us excellent advice on driving around Vermont. When we left on Monday, 6 September (Labor Day), they gave us a bottle of Maple syrup. Excellent service and friendly people.

I am confused by my three years of experience with Signal Aviation. I had called to have the plane pulled up for my arrival so it’s easier to load, and it’s still at the tie down. But the second time I flew out this summer it was right up next to the FBO like it was a jet. Sometimes when I land, there is no one their to help with the plane, or the lineman that shows up seems put out, other times they are all over it. It’s a mixed bag and I have told myself that they are the only FBO on the field (so there is no competition to respond to), and it is vacationland, so I try to switch over to island time. They have also done a lot of great customer service, like calling us in the rental car when we left something behind at the airport, or driving us over to the terminal when our rental car was over there.

Nice facility, friendly people. One night free parking with fuel purchase and, as previously noted, syrup. Two wonderful restaurants in neighboring White River Junction: TipTop and Elixir. The town doesn't look like much, but you will be amazed.

Had a slight issue with two rental cars from two different rental car companies. The CSR was very rude to my passengers, and when all was said and done, the problem ended up being the FBO's fault. Normally we have great service, but not today.

We were there on 2/26 & 2/27. Very good experience. Friendly, professional service AND 3 bottles of New Hampshire Maple Syrup for our 3 crewmembers. Help with hotel rooms, and they managed to get our a/c (Challenger 600) in the hangar before our departure for a hangar melt.

My recent experience was very mediocre. Called day before, no crew car for my 4-hour need, no half-day rental, had to ask friends to pick me up. Arrived in 5 deg weather. No lineman, no help parking or tying down plane. Disinterested reception. On departure, the linemen had no idea how to preheat my C172. FBO acted exactly as if they were the only one on the airfield..., which they are. I half expect the syrup to be Aunt Jemima.

I fly an Aeronca Champ that has not radio. I recently purchased a hand held radio so I could go to towered airports. My first use was at Lebanon and although inexperienced and learning the proper way to use it the controller(s) in the tower were accommodating and helpful. I thank them for that. Signal Aviation also treated me just like I was one of the jets on their ramp and even gave me one of their signature bottles of real maple syrup when I left. Thank you Signal Aviation.
